I am a very easy going guy, I don't get upset when people are blackjack wrong (unless they also insist they are doing it right). But please don't sit at the only 100 play vp machine then play 25 hands at 1 or 2 coins per hand!

    What drives you nuts?

Actually, what's worse is when they play only one hand on a 100 play VP machine (sometimes with only one coin).

I hate it when I'm at the craps table and someone is teaching another person how to play and they're teaching them how great it is to play double/double-pay field bets, C&Es, hard ways, and small/tall/all. I can practically see the casino making space for all of the new player's (and their teacher's) chips that are soon to be relinquished.

Splitting 10's and the smugness that follows.

Also the ones who teach splitting 10's.

People who are baffled that an Ace and a 4 are 5 or 15.

People who stand on the above looking at a 3.

I know pure superstition.....however, we mainly play either single or double deck blackjack. BIggest pet peeve is when someone joins the table and starts playing in the middle of a single or double deck shoe. To me it is blackjack etiquette to wait til the new shuffle. It is not that hard to wait one whole hand.

The guy (whose not playing at the craps table) but continually informs his buddies who are debating wheather to jump in, that this is the worst game in the casino because a seven is most likely to come up and all the suckers at the table dont realize this. But, he states roulette has the best odds because after three straight reds, it HAS to be black because there cannot be four reds in a row!

Also the blackjack expert and mathmatician that is playing behind his buddy. Who also fails to realize that deviating from basic strategy because you now have an edge, is poor play. SMH.

Not a peeve, but I made a large bet playing BJ(was down and pushed it out), and my first card was an ace - the dunces at my table start celebrating me(cause I might get a blackjack). I knew right then I was doomed and I was, second card was a 4 and drew two tens to bust. lesson is dont celebrate till you've won the hand.

They ran my girlfriend off a table because they didn't like her play and she "took" their card...I was on the other side of the casino and she didnt tell about it til later or I may have crossed getting kicked out of a casino off my bucket list.

The real pet peeve and insanity is the above person wondering is they should take a hit. There should not even be a thought process involved. Zip. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make the hand worse than what you have.

But... people still sit there and look at it wondering what to do.

    I have no pet peeves.
There are several wild ones in the woods around my property, but they're too exhausting to catch! :faint:

If I did manage to snare a peeve and make it my pet, it would be folks trying to pressure me off of a slot machine that I'm using at the moment! :cuss:

People who play more than one slot machine at a time

BJ geezers huffing at my play, even if I whip out the basic strategy card

I hate the "you took my card" idiots. I am as likely to take a card that helps you as to take a card that "hurts" you. That's why I have all but given up on blackjack.
At roulette, I am amazed at the people who will put chips on 25 out of the 36 numbers. What's the point?
But craps is my game and i hate late bettors. I admit it is a superstition, but a good craps game develops a rhythm. It can ruin a shooters routine. It rates up there with the drunks who throw chips on the craps table not knowing what they are doing. .

How about hubbie/wifey/BF/GF who sits at the next-door machine (which you want to play) and just sits there (pretending to be?) watching?
