    My Trip Report

    Just kidding...

7 days of fun and rain. I ate, I gambled, I won, and I lost.

I'll leave it at that... Don't want to ruffle any feathers again...

Oh yeah, and the kids had a blast... Other than the huge crowd in Circus Circus on Tuesday, everything was cool! My 4 year olds favorite was the M + M factory, and I didn't mind paying the $8 a pound for them!

VJ, I think I like the Peak and Valley Ace better but your traveling with a different crowd on this one, which is OK.

I was just wondering if you really tried hard, how many pounds of M&M's could you eat in one setting.

I think I could eat 2 pounds easy. [IMG]

She had fun. She felt bad because the fold out bed at the Venetian wasn't too comfy, and being the gentleman that I am(even though it is my sis) I had her sleep in the nice comfy king bed in the other room. My 4 year old came with the offer though! [IMG] For her X-Mas present, I bought her a gift certificate to Canyon Ranch Spa. She explained it as heaven, pure and simple. She came right back up afterwards and slept. I guess 2 hours of that will do it to you. [IMG]

My kids liked the Plaza better. I think it was because of the McD's and the video games downstairs. We had the "Suite" again, and it was three different rooms. One for them, one for me, and one for my sister. She has been on the poker thang as well. She played in the Plaza tournament at midnight and came in 12th outta 53 wothout the bonus buy or the rebuy. Pretty darn good I thought. She used to be straight Vegan, but know she has graduated to vegetarian and it was easier to feed her.

As far as the M+M's go, I ate a ton... I wouldnt say two pounds, but it was pretty close. Anyone else try the sampler from the Coca Cola factory? There was one on there called "Bitters" I think that was horrible. She got me by saying it tasted like Sprite, but it was far from.

They all left for home Wednesday around 1. I worried for about 5.5 hours because the winds were horrible and the fog was setting in... They made it home and the rest of my buddies arrived later that day.

I KNOW that Coke sample--I had it at the Coke museum in Atlanta last year--I think it's an italian thing? Because it tasted like Campari, which also makes me gag.

I don't know if you should be proud of them or if you should keep an eye on them. ;)

My thoughts exactly Doc.. The room at the Venetian was beautiful. The Plaza was okay, but through the eyes of a 6 and a 4 year old I guess the criteria for what is "cool" is different.

They kept asking me for a "football" drink... I bought mine and washed it out(after I finished it of course...) and had the bartender at the Plaza fill it with soda. They both finished it, and it was fun trying to get them to go to sleep! Besides the M+M's and all the loot from Circus Circus, that had to be a favorite thing for them as well. They had so much fun, i'm glad I could provide that for them! Next time, my 6 year old wants to actually drive the gokarts at that cool track. We will have to see about that!
