Have you ever seen the show ‘The Temptress’? The conversation has weaved its way through a variety of topics before this one. I shrug my shoulders. Should’ve I?

Apparently it’s a reality show, the main concept isn’t hard to guess. I admit, I have not.. adding I don’t watch that much TV, except for the music channels or a football game. And a secret addiction to TVLand.

That part I left out. ;)

Greg reaches into his pocket and withdraws his card. It’s glossy black surface is accented with red light art effects, resembling the décor of Mix. I look at the company name (don’t recognize it) but like the tag line. Where artists are born…. And when I glance at his name, I’m not surprised to see the word president beneath it.

So what are you working on now? I inquire. He admits nothing is in production at this moment, having just finished the aforementioned reality show and a short film on aged superheroes. Aged superheroes? (You know I had too ask. :D )

The films concept is to catch up with the members of the Hall of Justice, now old and decrepit (probably living in Vegas ;) ) for a ‘where are they now?’ retrospect. As he laid out the surprisingly docile retirement adventures enjoyed by a number of my childhood heroes, I was dead with laugh.

And so it went, the laughter, the tales and the Barbancourt.. until the club closed and the bartender approached us after finishing our last drink.

I was still laughing on the elevator ride back down to the atrium of THEhotel, where I pause for only a moment, before letting Greg usher me into the taxi that is conveniently waiting just outside the doors. Where to? The man asks.

Drais. Greg replies and I smile, settling in beneath his arm for the short ride. Ahhh yes.. dancing. :D

Oh good. Another elevator ride. And a segment it probably took longer to type than to live.

I'll give you this, Lacy- you're consistent.

Actually no. ;) I do have a life you know and although entertaining the boardites of T2V is quite amusing, I had other things to do last night and have more adventures planned this evening... :D

Enjoy your New Year's everyone.

"Gregs" trip report...

We started out at Mix where I met this 7 foot tall amazon. I dropped some dinero on some rum drinks, nodded & smiled as she spoke, took her to Drais... yada yada yada, the breakfast buffet at Tropicana sucks.

:D

Blackjack,

Thanks for posting Greg's TR..thank you for yada yada yada-ing thru the most boring parts.

Regarding the Tropicana Buffet/Lacy, do you suppose the fish was fresh?

Blackjack, if your current work arrangement ends, go work for readers digest. The entire freakin' story in 2 sentences. Kudos to you.

Fantastic. This is classic film noir. Internal and external dialogue, shadowy themes, and plentiful ellipses...

Of all the elevators in Vegas, why did she have to step onto mine...

I'd be asleep 10 minutes into this particular film, but I do like the style.
