At the new MGM Park, the website shows the stand alone showers in both king and double queen rooms. Now after seeing reviews most of them still had a tub/shower combo with new red or green tile. Im hoping when we check in i can request a stand up shower no tub. If your going to do a complete remodel then stay consistent

Which style bathroom has everyone received. I was looking forward to the stand alone shower that they show on the website.

3 stays so far. King and 2 bed queen all had shower no tub without requesting.

Remember that you check in to a kiosk and only can get a person if there's a problem - so chances of being able to 'request' a certain type of shower are pretty low.

That said, the videos I've seen have had the standup shower (no tub).

I've stayed there 3 times over the past year or so and always had just a stand up shower, without requesting any type of shower.

Don't believe there are any tub/shower combos left.

There are - I don't think they are plentiful though. I have seen one such remodeled room on YouTube. I have NO idea as to their orientation in the building. Maybe an HC room?

Eh, I wouldn’t say you can ONLY talk to a person if there’s a problem. They have plenty of managers and staff wandering the check in area and you can ask for specific items if necessary.

I go monthly and have not once seen a room with a shower/ tub combo. I’ll ask next time I go though.
