Park MGM Gold+ lounge coming early Nov

I was told by VIP agent a lounge for Gold+ opening early Nov. Lounge will be same location as current VIP check-in.

 

Finally! It's been needing some sort of lounge.

 

About damn time. Love this.

 

would a lowly gold be able to go there without staying at Park?

 

Oh, construction has started. VIP check-in working from a temp space.

 

This will be a nice addition. Any other MGM lounges that Gold can currently access?

 

I hate... love... hate... damnit Park MGM! Why must you make it so hard. They get rid of 3:2.. but then add a lounge. Sigh.
A lounge doesn't make it up though.

 

Isn't the current VIP check in for Nomad VIP check in?

 

I don't think so. Nomad VIP check-in is for Nomad guests. Park MGM VIP check-in is a storefront, off to the side of the main check-in.

 

Oh. Never realized ParkMGM even had one then.

 

MGM is getting rid of the NoMad brand. I wonder if this new VIP lounge is part of that move.

 

It's not much, just a few counters to check-in...but the chocolate bars are handed out there

 

Yea, trying to picture where this would go. Is there an office/space behind there?
I guess the one at NYNY ( for Platinum/Noir only) is pretty tiny...

I don't understand their lounge decisions. Maybe it's decided by property and not corporate?

 

If you come through the main doors (where valet is), it's to your immediately right.

New lounge is where "VIP" is labeled, and temp VIP check-in where "Lobby" in Lobby shop is labeled.

 

Staying at Nomad for the first time the first week of November. I am hoping this is open and it has more than granola bars... I like the NYNY lounge blueberry muffins and a coffee by the pool it was a nice way to start the morning!

 

The NYNY is Platinum and up though I believe, and one of the weaker Platinum lounges.

 

I’m going to have to disagree if they have Hershey's kisses and red bull in the fridge, Easy to walk in and they'll get you a beer or two if you ask.

I’ll pass on the food except some of the cookies.

 

Did they bring the hershey kisses back?
Also, they used to not refill the red bull after the morning.

 

God I hope so! Sometimes I’d go in right before the closed and they had some stocked for the morning.

 

Well the Hersey Kisses weren't there the last few times I stopped by there.
