Currently at Paris and all electricity in the casino and hotel has been out over an hour. Crazy, I have $300 in a machine so I can't leave. Backup generator not working. Will try to post pics.

Gotta be surreal sitting in a 'quiet' dark casino

I hope nobody clotheslines a cocktail waitress who's running down the aisle.

Happened while I was there a couple years ago. I was on a Wheel Of Fortune machine with a few hundred of bucks inside. Has to sit and wait it out for 90 minutes. On the positive, the waitresses continued some awesome drink service and I made a few friends while waiting.

Just one more example of Russian/Chinese/basement-living-thirty-something-compu-goober hacking a critical system to bring down 'merika.
Sad. Sad, sad, sad. Nothing tugs at the heart strings like a casino on indefinite pause.

“We can confirm that as of approximately 9:45am all power to the Paris property was lost as the result of onsite construction. Out of an abundance of caution we are closing our casino, restaurant and hotel operations. We are working closely with NV Energy to immediately restore power and will provide more details as they become available.”

Closing hotel operations? How does that work??

Wow. I wonder if they're putting people up at other CET properties ? I wonder if they even have capacity for that.
