    My Trip Report

    Thursday - Day 4
Figured I better get this report finished before I forgot everything
This was our last day so you know how that goes you have to cram everything in to the last
day, and we still didn't get it all done, oh well maybe next trip
Up a little later today I think I made it til almost 8 am didn't even make my coffee run today
because our plan was to go to Harrahs for the brunch
Got out of the room a little after 9 after pre packing so I didn't have to do it later
First stop was the internet station to pring our boarding passes, this is a good deal for 5 bucks
we got all 4 of our boarding passes printed.
Wanted to go to the Price is Right today so our next stop was to get our tickets
Box office didn't open til 10 so we hopped on a machine and got an irish coffee mmmmmm
double my 20 and it was close to 10 so went to get our tickets. We got the employee that
was out of the running for employee of the month, not friendly at all or very talkative, you are
going to have a long shift sweetie with that little attitude. Got our seats so we were free
to roam until 2 ish. Off we went to Harrahs for breakfast. Much better than the Paris breakfast
buffet, and nowhere near the lines at the stations. It was nice and relaxing. After a total
pig out we went to gamble a bit at Harrahs, found my hot shot whatever machine and played
a good long time on a twenty, too full to partake of any beverages at this time. Roamed our way
back to Paris and regroup and then met at the Price is Right around 2:10. went to stand in
line to get a few drinks and it was horibbly slow, a big group came in after us and they found
out they could carry in drinks so they went out to the bar to get them, this would have been
a good deal, when you get your room at Paris you get a sheet of coupons with a bunch
of 2 for one drinks.. We should have left, cause that big group came back in less than
10 minutes and we were still waiting, so we order 2 captain and diets and 2 beer and it comes
to 33 bucks whew we should have ran out and hit the bar. The show was fun, Don't know if
I'd rush back to do it again, but it wasn't real expensive, I think like 35 bucks a ticket.
It was entertaining, They give out a total of about 50 prizes, and of course the 4 of us don't get one :grrr:
sheesh, that's some luck we have, there was only around 200 people in there
Next we wanted to go to the Rio, we had just missed the bus so we opted for a run through
PH - we thought maybe we could hit up Blondies for an hour of Happy Hour, but when we
got there the Happy Hour price was now 20 bucks for all you can drink, we didn't want to invest
that kind of time or be wiped out for the rest of the evening, so we just roamed and played a
little, then we caught the bus to the Rio, When you board these busses now they take
diamond club first and then anyone with a Total Rewards card next, this bus was full and
not everyone made it, so make sure you have a card. At the Rio we played for a while with out
any luck , wanted to catch a show but still had a half hour to wait so we went in to the
Irishy Pub - Muldoons I think - they had about 4 tables that were actually outsideon the floor in a roped off area
so we sat there and had a couple of Pizza's and some beers, the pizza was really good
the sauce was kind of sweet, it was vey good, had 4 pieces left so I carried them around and
we all had a late night snack while gambling at the Paris. We could watch the show from our
table. So we got to kill 2 birds with one stone and not keep feeding a machine. After dinner
we headed back to the strip and finished out our night and vacation at the Paris. Fed machines
there for a couple of hours and had waaayyyyy tooooooo many one last drinks, how come they
always flow so free when you have to get up at 5 AM, crashed around 11 and didn't sleep all that wll
the late nite pizza and a boat load of gin and tonics didn't sit so well. Woke
up feeling fine but tired. Checked out and caught a quick taxi to the airport, everyone at
checkout and at the cab stand were very friendly and smiley. Got to the airport and experienced
the longest line I have very seen, They wound it around an extra corridor I had never seen
before, but I think they do this, cause you are constantly moving, so it didn't seem so bad
I think it was about 20 minutes, Of course I am the lucky one that gets pulled aside to get
felt up, but what the heck, what happens in Vegas LOL
Flight out was a little late, the captain came on and said he had an maintenance light that was
on and it didn't fit his high standards, so we had to wait about 15 minutes , that's the kind of
pilot you like, PICKY!!! When we took off we could smell fuel but it disappeared after about a
minutes, so I could relax nobody else seemed to concerned.
Landed on time in Appleton, It was very cold and they had just had a storm so there was a lot
of snow and a few cars still in ditches in the highways. YUK
we decided we didn't spend enough money so we spent the night at an Indian Casino on the
way home, Didn't spend too much here, I was wiped out but still managed to stay up til
    midnite.
Came home with about 1/3 of my money intact, so time to start saving for the next trip.
Usually after 4 nights I am ready to go home, but not this time, I could have spent 2 more days
It was fun to go with another couple.

    Random Thoughts
Hooters Chicken Wings - Good Deal - get the coupon book with the Players Club
Free Play - not worth much but at least you're note spending your own money
City Center - missed this in my day to day review, but what the heck were they thinking????
what kind of architect puts a building like that on the strip?? You know it's mixed
in with the Bellagio, Monte Carlo, Paris, etc…. And it looks like something from
    the Jetson's. UUGGHHHH
Drink Service - was pretty good everywhere we went, sometimes it took awhile to get your first
one but after that, they came around pretty regularly.
Crowds - Monday Night seemed slow but after that it was wall to wall people on the strip Nascar had come to town and it really started to show on Wednesday
Freemont St. - Best shows I have seen, it was really crowded down there for a TuesdayNight. Don't miss mermaids for a drink it really is entertaining Brew Pub at Main St Station was a good meal and the roulette was fun
Wynn Buffet - great buffet but a little pricey, thought I don't think the lunch one was too expensive, so if you go before 3:30 it would be reasonable. Try to get the free ones by signing up for there card
Casino Royale - buck margarita's nice for a stroll down the strip
Never saw anyone win anything big, in our group we each had 1 hit over 100 other than
that it was just small stuff, but you could usually play awhile on a 20
I'm sure I'll come up with more but I need to get this posted so I'll add any other random
thoughts as I come up with them
