When do they release her calendar? If anything it's worth a visit to Palms to see some of the talent!

Heard through other message boards that the Palms has ZERO promotions in February. All the other Station properties have some Monday & Wednesday multipliers and maybe some other "stuff" (e.g. weekend swipes).

The Marketing gurus must have heard of "product differentiation" and figured that the lack of ANY promotions will clearly set them apart from their competitors!!:goofy:

The lack of promotions and the never-ending construction re-enforces that the Palms is definitely a NO-GO for the foreseeable future and maybe longer.

Better news...a Chick-fil-a is planned within walking distance (along with a walgreens, del taco and a non-gaming hotel)

Chick-Fil-A is my wifes favorite fast food. Is that going to be on the vacant parcel just east of Palms?

I've heard the marketing people are having some issues. I'm getting offers and so far everything is good. I will let you know after my May trip.

Tom...yes...I believe it will be in that spot across from GC. There is a Del Taco, Walgreens and a hotel planned too among other things. I did get marketing from the Palms for March, but it is all disconnected from Stations...only the Monopoly promotion is common to all. Also, I talked to the sportsbook director at GVR and they are unsure when they will take over the book at the Palms as they have to get out of the contract currently held by CG (formerly Cantor). CG is being kicked out of the M for William Hill...very good news as far as I'm concerned...and long overdue.

It’s semi released already and it’s looking like a stacked line up for rap and edm of course. Plus the new pool is gonna be great from what I’ve read on the renovations.

I went to palms for the first time and gambled in feb. I called to ask if I had any offers she said not but I can give you two nights comped with no resort fee. Not sure if this is because I am from east coast or if it’s because I only played 2-3 hours but I bought in for 5000 and had some big hands between 500-1800

I would give it a try. Their rooms are pretty nice in both towers. They have one of the better food courts as far as I am concerned. The buffet is finally decent again! You are also at the triangle: Palms, Gold Coast and Rio, with a shuttle to the Orleans from the GC. Also, not far from the strip if that is your thing!

Does anyone know if the shuttle still runs between the Rio and Bally's?

There is no longer a shuttle from or to Rio.

I just went to check my BConnected offers and Stations offers. I know CET sometimes drives us nuts but it is really good at posting all of the details of an offer online. On the Stations website, it just has hotels and dates and then it says "see mailer for offer". There are special dates for Palace Station as if there is a tournament or something but I didn't receive the snail mail, and the great offer I received from the Palms doesn't show up online, nor do the offers I received from the Palms for comped tickets.

So everyone should check BOTH online offers and snail mail and call the hotel you're interested in to see what offers might be available.

They are getting more strict regarding who they let on the GC shuttle. For some drivers, if they is a big crowd they will ask for a room key.
