Has anybody ever tried the prestige package with Costco travel? Thinking of trying Costco travel or would it be better to arrange flight and hotel room through the hotel itself?

I've never tried Costco Travel but I love the Palazzo. The only problem I have with not booking directly with the hotel is that it's usually much more difficult to change the hotel/flights if your travel plans change, if the price of the hotel drops etc. Depending on how much you gamble, if you book directly with the hotel, they might be able to take care of some of the hotel bill at the end of the stay. If you book through a 3rd party, they can't do anything with it.

Normally if you book directly with the hotel, you can cancel the reservation up to 72 hours before the trip with no penalty. Package deal restrictions from airlines, travel agents etc tend to be much more restrictive.

By the way, love the Palazzo!

Palazzo has great rooms. I just dont care for the casino. Far too small and boring for me.

While not a Costco deal, I booked Prestige at Palazzo a couple of years ago. You will most likely not be on the Prestige floor but will have access to the lounge and amenities. Breakfast is pretty crowded, as is happy hour but you can make do and the free drinks are very nice. The view from the lounge is very nice. Just run the cost benefit analysis.

Thanks for all the responses, we decided to try the Costco deal it had the best price even included the same prestige package deal as the hotel with 2 free tickets to see rock of ages show. Hotel sounds great a little fancier then we used to we are the more jeans and tee shirt crowd people!

You'll see plenty of that there too. Have fun. It's a massive complex.

I just booked pretty much the same deal but I'm in the Venetian, Venezia Tower. IT was a good price so I decided to upgrade from my normal digs.
