    My Trip Report

Took a Weekend trip comped at Palace Station.

They wave the extra resort fee when the rooms are comped. This includes free internet but only standard speed internet...if you want a higher speed there is a charge.

Checkin Friday night real quick...Room was nice in the Tower. Room 5020. Big Enough room with 2 queens and a large flat panel TV.

Late dinner at Coco's was just average. Don't think I'll try Coco's again. not bad but not special at all for $70 for 4.

Cabo's mexican restaurant happy hour is the way to go with 2.99 margaritas and half off menu items during happy hour. Loved the shrimps wrapped in bacon with monterrey jack cheese.

Cocktail service was real good, too.

The only problem was that the showers were hot, then not so hot, then hot, and back and forth so you had to keep jumping in and out. I have water rationing where i live, so a long warm shower is a nice treat when i'm on vacation, and this was a real let down. I think this is a real deal breaker even though i really liked Palace Station.

Thanks for posting. That really sucks about the shower. I love long, hot showers and I would have been majorly disappointed too!
