Received a room offer for Palace Station because Palms is closed. The room photos look nice, but oddly I'm not finding photos of the bathrooms. Anyone stayed there recently? Wondering if the rooms have walk-in showers?

They did have rooms with walk in showers when they had that two story area of rooms around the old pool to the east of the casino(terrace rooms?), because I had one of those the first night of a stay some years back, but every room that I’ve stayed in the main hotel tower had a tub/shower combination.

I would avoid ALL Station properties. When they reopened some of their casinos, they increased the coin-in on video poker to $2 = 1 point. And they didn't tell anyone about it. Thank you Stations for making sure your players will return with open arms and more importantly, a wide open pocket book, so they can extract your money faster.

The Stations marketing team has come up with a new slogan replacing the old one "We love locals" (who lose). Their new slogan is "Bend over - it won't hurt a bit".

They changed the VP coin in on Rewards credit. All gaming, buys, hotel stays still post the same for your tier credits and status level as it has been.

Its not so much as doubling the coin in but worse they took away the 3X everyday multiplier. They took seniors day away too.

Palace rooms are completely redone with walk-in showers. They did a nice total remodel ( not just replace carpets). Wish I could say the same about the rewards program.

I was there in January. Some rooms have walk in showers and some do not. I need access to a walk in shower so I always ask. I have learned over the years that the front desk really does not know which rooms have these showers but the maids do. Check with housekeeping and they will tell you just which rooms have them. Last year I played musical floors because the desk kept sending me to rooms that did not have walk in showers. Finally after three tries and a very frustrated security guard, they asked housekeeping and I got a room with a walk in shower. Good luck!
