Hi, yes I did. A Jordan cabernet reserve. Really good. I always forget to take pictures and didn't take a picture of the btl. But it was a treat. Very expensive. I wouldn't have got it if I had to pay cash but again it was excellent. Add I wake up this morning no sneezing and only blew my nose twice! Yes I'm better and thank you for following. I appreciate it.

No worries. Thank you for thinking of me. Everyone needs a car so you will have the opportunity to send business my way soon I'm sure. I appreciate it. Yes you know I well be screaming for my Bruins. No bet ad I don't bet unless I'm in Vegas. As a matter of fact I don't gamble outside of Las Vegas at all. No Indian casinos no bookie no nothing. Why? Because you get NOTHING for your dollar. At least in Las Vegas I get 12k in comps. Comprende?
Nice meeting you uclagirl! It was fun and see you next time.

Thanks for the awesome report! Nice gesture to the caddie too!

I did like seeing you flying SW. The high rollers fly on the same planes as us low rollers LOL

Thanks for the great report! It was a fun read that's for sure. Always like seeing the pics of the Wynn golf course. Would love to play there someday.

    My 2900 craps mistake....

What an idiot I am.. I mentioned earlier in the thread I made a mistake. Well I made 2 in one weekend. the way I bet at craps im trying to get the lowest house edge. When you are on a roll and have made say 6-8 numbers in a row and have a lot if not all of your money on the table, what happens? Yes, the 7 seems to show up and you lose almost all your money. So 4 years ago I decided to play the dark side. It has worked for me due to patients, discipline, money management and most importantly LUCK! I am up many 1000s of $$ overall over the last 4 years. I wager the same way every time. Never waiver from that. I bet 1700 on the do and 2200 on the don't with full odds from time to time. On the come out I put 30 on the 12. Early in the trip for some reason I forgot to put money on the 12 and a 12 came up for a loss of 1700! Then late in the trip at Aria I was talking to a suit who I know well as I was playing and all of a sudden I saw a 3 come up. Cool I just won 500 and he should pay me 2200 on the don't side and take away the 1700 from the do side! But for some reason the dealer paid me only 500. I told him he shorted me he said no there is only 500 out there. I said impossible as I always make the same bet. I look at the chips and sure enough there was only 500 in blk there. I said no way and please check the video. I wouldn't care over a few hundred but we are talking a 1200 difference. After thinking about it there was no way the dealer would pay me 500 if there was 2200 out there. I knew at that point it was my bad.. I have no idea why I put only 500 out. Sure enough the video shows I had only 5 blks on the don't. I told them to color up as I refuse to play when my concentration isn't there. These are rookie mistakes and lack of paying attention. that's not ok. So a loss between the two mistakes of 2,900.00. Not good. I think because at that time I was making some iron cross bets I spaced and didn't pay attention. Had too much going on at the time. It kills me! I would have rather given the 2900 to charity or something. It was like I took 2900 and through it off the balcony from the wraparound at Cosmo! Actually that would have been better than losing it the way I did. At least someone would have picked up the 2900 floating from the heavens. Terrible.
That will NEVER happen again!! I hope.

P.s. what I was pissed at was the dealer who saw I made the wrong bet and didn't say anything until after when he said "I was wondering why you changed your bet"... I let him have it.

Thanks for that Packer, I will definitely look into the Golf in June. My brother stays in California and is coming to Vegas to meet me, not sure if he golfs but if he does we will get something organised.

You could have just as easily lost with those 2 rolls. Calling it a "loss of 2900" is a bit of a stretch.

Regardless, very nice report. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

Unfortunate to hear. Never a good feeling of course. Do you play at Aria often? I am happy with crew at Cosmo as they have always been good about catching an inconsistent bet and when they missed it they've paid out a missed bet or two (although we're talking $50-$100 as opposed to $2k). I did once have an issue with one of the crews when the pit boss and stickman were 'quietly' berating a player for his play while chatting to each other but they speaking loud enough to be heard by a couple of folks nearby. That irked me.

At least your good deeds will bring some positive karma for your the next trip!

Packer, your opinion of Ben Howland when he was at UCLA? He was just hired at my Alma mater (Mississippi State).

More likely It could have landed on a seven or eleven and I would have won 1200! That's not the point though. I don't mind winning or losing. I mind the brain Flatulence. Sign of age maybe. Lol.
And thank you for enjoying the TR!

Hi, I know. I found out last Saturday I think while in Vegas. I hated how he always would call timeouts at the most inopportune time. We as alumni would be screaming about that all the time. His record is pretty good (400-200 ish I think). But I feel over the 10 years with ucla he couldn't do to much wrong (and he did) as he had a lot of talent on UCLA. He is a 5 on the scale. Maybe better suited for Miss St.?

    Regional Championships – Final Four*(2006, 2007, 2008)
    Pac-10*Tournament Championship (2006, 2008)
    Pac-10 Regular Season Championship (2006, 2007, 2008)
    Pac-12 Regular Season Championship (2013)
    Big East*Tournament Championship (2003)

If I remember right he was even pac 10 coach of the year in like 2003.

That is why I hate just blindly tipping dealers out of some obligation. If they are helpful, like reminding of something if I make a silly mistake or something then yes they should get some love.

Great report, as someone who never golfs, those pics want me to start taking it up. Thanks.

Totally agree! I only tip if they are helpful as well. Not obligated to give them anything except a thank you.
And on that note, thank you for reading the TR!!

Packer, one of the best. Thank you for the golf pictures and scorecards, nice jester to caddie at Wynn. Shadow creek, only in my dreams. Looks like you and I a close on handicap(10-12). Will be in Vegas on 4/20, let me know? As for craps i play, but not dark side. Your patience is a virtue at the tables. What do you do with a hot roller?
Good luck next time and any golf updates please continue to post. Take care,
