I’ve totally been a slacker and haven’t posted my TR. Monday December 7th This was to be the Vegas trip of a lifetime! The love of my life ‘finally’ proposed to me over Thanksgiving after being together for 5 years. As my Daddy said ‘we know he likes to think things through’ We already had a trip to Las Vegas scheduled, so we thought why not?!? Arrived @ 1:30 pm and drove straight to the Clark County Wedding License office. We waited about an hour then got our paperwork done and headed to Caesars Palace. I had originally booked our favorite room - The Palace Studio Suite, but received an e.upgrade to the Palace Executive Suite. This suite was on the 28th floor and really amazing. 1500 square feet with living and dining room, 2 full baths and a jetted tub. After we unpacked, we walked to Dirt Dog across the street at Bally’s and got the best freakin’ hot dogs ever! After we ate, we slotted around CP and lost about $200.00, which wasn’t bad since we weren’t hitting on anything until WOF became my atm machine. Lol. Tuesday December 8th This is the big day! We decided on Lucky Little Wedding Chapel based on the reviews and I have to say they were fabulous. From picking us up to dropping us back off. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to make our day special. I highly recommend! On a side note- I found 7 dresses on Amazon that I ordered and the first one I received was the ONE. Who knew Amazon would make it so easy to shop for a wedding dress??? After the ceremony, we went and had my Diamond Celebration dinner at Old Homestead. Very delicious and just the perfect spot to end our wedding day! Wednesday December 9th Woke up early to head to Hash House for breakfast. Then headed over to the Venetian to play a little. Then it was dinner at Mon Ami, which was not very wonderful....we will stick to breakfast from now on. We had tickets to the High Roller and we were able to watch the sunset. Beautiful, and we had our own ‘car’. Which was nice due to COVID. Ended up back at CP and lost our butts!!! But still had a fun evening. Thursday December 9th Unfortunately we were going home today. We had breakfast at Mon Ami - omg LOVE the lemon crepes, and I can’t believe we didn’t take a picture! Headed to the airport and flight left on time. Final thoughts: The room was amazing for our wedding, but I don’t think I’d pay to upgrade to it again. It was nice to have the extra room, but we love the bathroom in the Palace Studio Suite. We really enjoyed the Open Table App. We made all our reservations there and never had a wait. We saw so many people being turned away without having reservations. This was a different kind of trip for us. It will be interesting to see what happens to our comps because we really didn’t play as much as we usually do. Thank you for following along and if you have any questions, I will do my best to answer. I do apologize it took me so long to post this review.
