Is it free?
If it is, does it work in the casino?
At the coffee shop Joe. Lots of chairs. Opposite of registration on the other side of the doors to come in from valet. You go through a bunch of "oh yes this is great. Nice commercial". But from there it is good and free.
Yes it's free. Coffee shop is free and you can choose a free room wifi, or upgrade for a cost in room. Free room is fast enough. Casino, not sure. Trying to focus on winning---
OK, the only reason I asked is we are getting comp tickets to Steven Wright on next Friday. I think we'll take the WAX from downtown to Tropicana stop, then catch a cab at Trop. But return trip, if they have WiFi at Orleans, we could order an UBER because our Chase CC has an offer for first time members to sign up for up to $30 free.
Yes, there's free wifi all over the floor. Different servers depending on where you are (and the strength varies, too). As others have said, your backup/go to place is near the Java Cafe, near the lobby. You should have no problem connecting.
I'd catch a cab from NYNY. A quick exit out of NYNY and $horter trip.
Yeah, there is casino wide WiFi. You need a players card number to access it.
Here ya go! I was standing in the check-in line at the Orleans earlier today. And as you can see it was also catching the java signal.
And as leo21 mentioned you will need your players card number for this Boyd guest signal.
Joe I'm a fan of Orleans but know nothing about their wifi. I'm only jumping in to say Steven Wright is one of my old faves. He is never at the Orleans when I go. I also miss Rodney, George Carlin and all the old timers. Steven has the great dry humor like Bob Newhart.
When i was there last week they had signs all over the floor - simply go to the Boyd guest wi-fi and enter your b-connected number as the password!
Wish every casino had this!
I have had good success in getting on line.
Chase Uber is up to $30 but only good for first ride, not a $30 credit. Save for furthest ride.
