Just was wondering if the Orleans has an online check out, like via the TV? Or are they old school in which you'll need to check out at the desk?

Yes, via the TV. They give you an option to have the folio emailed to you. A little clunky to type in the address, but it works.

Good back up in case there is any question on charges.

Unless you have to change something, there is no need to do anything and you can just leave.

I have had no problem checking out on the TV. well, that is, if I do it before checkout time. I usually don't have to wait too long if I go to the desk.

Tv checkout takes about ten seconds, a few more if you want receipt e-mailed. This should be available anywhere you stay. I can't remember the last time I checked out at the desk.

    Good Luck!

You can also call the front desk to checkout, too. I forget they had tv checkout and called last time.

The other great thing about TV check out is being able to verify charges before leaving. On two occasions I was charged for a comped room or a meal credit wasn't applied, which prompted a visit to the front desk armed with the printouts I always bring showing my offer and reservation. "Oh, we're sorry" and removal of the charge is the typical response, which is a lot better than seeing it appear on the next credit card statement. In fact, I usually review the charges the night before or first thing in the morning to avoid a last minute surprise as I'm leaving. Now that I think of it, the Orleans is probably the only hotel where I've encountered such mistakes.
