Heard terrible things from a local friend. He won't go back. Hates everything about it.

I ate there for breakfast earlier this week. Food was good and service was great. I was there at about 7am. The restaurant only had about 6 other guests. I was very skeptical because of the bad reviews here, but I had a good experience.

    Here's my write-up from March:

I said I wouldn't, but I did. I ate at CWC last month. Twice.

The first time was a Tuesday morning. I ordered the chicken and waffles and a side order of scrambled eggs - the food was great and the service was great.

So great that I went back Wednesday morning for a repeat of those chicken and waffles and eggs - the food was okay and the service was awful. The server took 9 minutes to get to my table for an order, she was SITTING and talking to people at another table. She finally came to take my order. She brought the eggs first. I asked her was the chicken and waffles coming shortly, she said she didn't know. I asked her to nix the eggs as I didn't want cold eggs waiting for the rest of my meal. Just as she picked up the eggs, the chicken and waffles were placed on the table by the busboy. Afterward, I waited so long for the check, I went to the cashier and asked her to find the server as I hadn't seen her since the egg drop-off.

I would only go back if I could sit in the first day server's area. She was great!

I also ate at CWC since then, April 19-20, got the same meal: chicken and waffles, eggs. Service and food were good.

Guess your second meal proves the answer to the question of what came first, the chicken or the egg
