Opt in to Caesars Rewards Diamond Sports Bets Bonus?

I am a newbie to sports betting and quite honestly only doing it to collect the signup bonuses that are available on the various sites. If my question has been asked and answered elsewhere, I apologize. I didn't see anything in a quick review I just did.

My question is related to the monthly bonus bets available on Caesars Sportsbook to Caesars Rewards Diamond members. I made a single $100 bet in October and doubled my money. I withdrew $100 and now my account balance stands at $100. If I read the terms and conditions correctly, I believe I should be eligible for a $40 bonus bet this month as my birthday is in November. The terms further state that the bonus will be deposited into my account within the first five days in November. It also says that I have to "opt in" in order to receive it. I have no idea what that means. I emailed customer service at Caesars, and they just regurgitated the written terms and conditions.

How do I "opt in"? Could it be that the $40 bonus will be deposited into my account without my needing to do anything, and if so, where would I find it? Or, based my limited activity do I not qualify? The terms state that a minimum of $100 has to have been bet the previous month so I thought I qualified. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

 

Log into your account and look under your "My Promos" tab. There should be a button to "opt-in" to the promo along with various other promotions.

 

Thanks for the reply. I must not qualify for some reason as there is no monthly tier benefit promotion in the My Promos section. I see seven other promotions with opt in buttons but not that one. There are several options at the top of the page under the word "Promotions." It is called Casino, but it is greyed out.

 

And you also bet the $100 last month in the same state where you're trying to redeem it?

Ohio has no online casino play afaik, so I'm not sure why you're seeing anything in the app that says casino on it. But if say you were logged into the state of Michigan, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey for example, then you could see promos related to online casino play.

 

Ok, I now understand what the greyed-out casino button is for. I live in Ohio and on-line casino gambling is not legal here, but online sports betting is legal. I bet the $100 from home and I am presently on my laptop at home as I browse through the website. There is no button for a monthly tier bonus. I also downloaded the app to see if it might show up there, but it does not. I did receive a second response from Caesars customer service, and they are saying the same thing as your post. Not sure what's going on, but if I can't get the bonus, I'll take my bat and ball and go home lol.

 

I wish they would give the monthly bonus bet to those in Ontario Canada.
We used to get them but they took them away.

 

Also thanks. I forgot about this because of the minimum bet requirement. I guess I make enough five and ten dollar bets on the weekends to qualify. Is the free bet something I have to opt in for every month?

 

You only have to opt-in to it once you successfully earned it before the month ends. It's just a small hoop that they added in hopes that some just might forget to claim it.

Make sure your sports betting account is linked with your Caesars Rewards account. You will be able to see your RC/TC balance in the sports app if they are linked.

As @tringlomane said, make sure you placed the bet in Ohio and that you are logged into the app with location set to Ohio. If you are logged in, you should be able to see the $100 cash bet under "Settled" in the "Bets" tab to verify that everything is correct.

Contact customer service in the app and ask why you don't have the monthly free bet under "My Promos" if everything looks right.

I am going to say I am a bit lazy on this one so feel free to flame me. I have searched a bit but have not found the simple guide. Can someone or several someones, please explain how the free bet works? I am now Elite and wanted to see how to take advantage. I think I need to make a bet to receive a bet? Just not sure how it all works and also am unaware of any "hacks" for the benefit. Using RCs or ..... Thanks for the help. I am headed to Reno in December and thought I would take advantage of it if I could. There are so many dang things to keep track of, but the free monthly bets seem large enough to look into.

First, make sure your Caesars Rewards account is linked to your Caesars Sports account. Login to the Caesas Sports app and you should see your Diamond Elite status under your account.

To get a free bet in a month, you need to make $100 of bets the month before. Also, to use the bonus bet you need to go under Promotions and "opt in" to it.

It's not really a lot of hoops to jump through. But if you don't live in a state with Caesars Sports, it's not very useful. You would need to make it to NV two months in a row to get one free bet.
