Yes, love the rooms there. True suites, with a separate bedroom and living room area. Two bathrooms, a nice, large bathroom off the bedroom, plus a smaller half-bath right by the door. Good wifi, and a desk if you need to do any work. There is a separate front desk/check-in area, and I've never encountered a long line there. Also a nice little coffee shop right there in that lobby. Now, the downside is location - you're at the far southern end of the strip, and the Mandalay casino floor is a little worn down. A few newer slot machines but most of the VP machines on the floor are pretty old. Some of the nicest standard rooms you'll find on the strip.

Beautiful note and fun casino. To me, the casino at Mandalay smells like a warm bowl of pho ❤️ favorite casino/hotel next to cosmo

Love Delano. If you can get used to the location, it’s pretty awesome. Some don’t like the color scheme, but I could care less.

We actually prefer MB even though the rooms at Delano are suites. We like the fact that MB elevators are closer to the casino and we prefer the decor (the rooms at Delano seem very sterile to me). We rarely use the living room at Delano except to park our suitcases and other stuff. That being said, most people would choose Delano over MB because of the extra room. YMMV

Stay there often….great to have the suite for working…and some good dining choices at Mandalay Bay …easy walk to Luxor…or take the tram..

The best room I have ever stayed in was the penthouse suite at Delano. I got it comped during the pandemic! I went to Vegas right after my 2nd vaccine shot took effect. I got the vaccine a little earlier than most, because I am a diabetic. MGM was basically giving away rooms back then. It was an incredible experience and I felt like I had the hotel all to myself. I know that I will never have a comp like that again! No restaurants were open in the Delano at all. There were a few restaurants open at MB. It was the most bizarre Vegas trip ever...with the best room ever. I really liked the Delano but that experience was probably a one off. Definitely a different time.

The rooms are fine but a sewer smell permeates the lobby and most of the hallways.

    Yes,
Actually prefer TheHotel@Mandalay Bay, (The previous Hotel in this space)
The Decor is Meh, No closet space, No Dresser drawer space,
No Decent Side tables @ bedside more like Plastic patio trash.

Your entire Closet consists of an Ikea Like Wardrobe +1 single Dresser Drawer+Room safe,
is all tucked into an 5'ish Wide Wardrobe on a wall in side of bedroom.
Mind you sharing space with an ironing board (i should have took pictures)
1/2 the Hanging Space blocked at bottom by the Safe, (no long Dresses).
I have seen larger closet/dresser space in College Dorms

It's like some MGM executive, went on the cheap during transition &
toss $500k at the Lobby, add some stupid rocks & some 50' Drapes, toss in some Scents,
and lets spend 2k per room & make it a Delano,
Miami theme based Hotel, & they haven't ever fixed it.

Sounds like you're describing the Scenic suite. The basic King suite has about twice the storage space.

The Delano base level rooms/suites are great as many have already stated. If you like to casino hop then the Delano location is preferable to MB rooms as it is close to the Sportsbook and walkway to Luxor. The downside is that you are much further away from the MB pools than if you stayed at MB

Overall I’d stay at Delano again

It might sound strange but I prefer the location. For me Frank Sinatra BLVD provides an excellent alternative to using LV BLVD. I like the highway access when I head to Summerlin and Henderson to gamble off strip.

If you are driving, the parking garage and check in are really close together. There is no need to drag your luggage thru the retail and casino to check in. It's a lot quieter on the Delano side and the extra TV and half bathroom is a nice bonus! If you get bored, take the tram to Excalibur and walk to the other MGM casinos. The variety of eateries around the Bay is very good.

Delano is nicer, overall than MB, but we walk back and forth from casino and sportsbook to our rooms many times a day. The walk gets long. Never tried the Delano spa as compared to MB spa. Rooms were roomier and nicer but did not equal the walk. MB, in general, is far away from other casinos, even to the Luxor. But, we walk a lot and don't mind the distance. And of course the Raiders play behind MB.

Enjoyed my stay at the Delano when I was there. Room was very nice and spacious. Things I liked, was smaller hotel, made check in and arrival easier. Delaon entry is located sort of around back near parking garage, so no big crowd there. Rooms may seem far away, though from the Delano elevator you are there in a minute or two. Other thing I liked at the time the pool had a pool dedicated to the people staying at Delano, so it was less crowded.

Delano is great, we usually stay there if we can't get a comp or a good rate for a suite at Aria (although we've started doing Vdara too). I'm not a fan of staying at Mandalay Bay itself because the elevators are always packed. So you get a much nicer room and a more casual atmosphere at Delano but then you still ge to gamble at Mandalay Bay, as others have said the casino there just feels comfortable.

As someone else said if you drive in Vegas the other benefit is using Sinatra to get into and out the place easily and to get to any other casino. You can also use the Hacienda bridge to get across the freeway to Dean Martin which gets you to Harmon and the Aria north valet very quickly. I rarely ever drive on the strip I always use those two fast back roads.

I stay at MB/Delano regularly and actually prefer MB. Delano rooms are fine but a bit boring to me (kind of a sea of white) and they feel smaller than the 700+ sq ft. I have no use for the small 2nd bathroom so that might be part of it. The master bathrooms are carried over from THEhotel so they're pretty dated at this point.

I do like Skyfall and Rivea though, and of course if you don't dig being onsite at Delano, MB is right there. For me if I had a choice between say an Elite King at MB vs a Delano suite I'd go MB every time.

I enjoyed my 4 night stay at Delano in the Scenic Suite. Beautiful room, HUGE tub that I took full advantage of. Everyone told me it's a trek to get from your room to the casino, but it's really not. I went outside to get there instead of through the hallway, and it's about a minute walk. I am not a fan of MB/Delano location on the strip. I did much less casino hopping, which I missed. It was nice for a truly relaxing trip. I gambled a whole lot less and really took it easy.

I appreciate the fact that it's an actual suite (with walls!). Skyfall and Foundation Room are unmatched when it comes to unobstructed views of the Strip. I'm sure it gets put to good use during a convention but the combined property feels too big for my tastes. I could've sworn I had to walk 20 minutes to get to the pool and the only comparable experience to that is when I'm staying at MGM. Also a great location...for catching your flight.
