Dead body in RV cancels bachelor party road trip to Kentucky

WINONA, Minn. (KMSP) - A group of friends from Minnesota had to cancel their bachelor party road trip to the Kentucky Derby after finding a dead body in the storage compartment of their rented RV.
The body was found during a stop in Winona, Minn. Thursday night, May 1. Needless to say, the group won’t be making it to the Derby. Their account of the evening played out on Twitter, using the hashtag #CorpseInTheCargoBay.



The RV was rented from a private party in Anoka, Minn., so Winona police have contacted the Anoka County sheriff’s office to assist with the investigation.

The scene and body will be processed in Winona and the investigation there is being handled by Winona police and the Minnesota BCA. There is no identification of the body at this time and no cause or manner of death is known.

But seriously...these things are sometimes too outrageous not to poke a little fun but whenever I hear reports like this I end up feeling really bad for the person who died. How awful of a place to end up.
