One week from today folks, there is a bird leaving from beautiful Cleveland, OH on a direct flight to fabulous Las Vegas. I plan to be aboard that airplane along with 15 of my friends and co-workers.
The pre trip details:
Staying at Flamingo (Heart of the Strip and good casino rates)
Wednesday night is a Welcome back to Vegas mode and scout out the best location to watch some NCAA basketball on Thursday. Light gambling and a meal but nothing too special.
Thursday during the day is looking like College Basketball heaven. Opening round games all day at a yet to be determined sportsbook. Evening festivities have not been planned. Maybe a Gentlemen's club or dance clubs.
Friday morning has a trip to the spa at the Rio. Done it the last few trips out and it is now included everytime. Get a light workout and a 50-minute message. Worth every penny!
Friday evening is most likely to be spent at Hard Rock. Think there will be any single females around there. Gosh do we hope so!
Saturday morning is Bingo at the Gold Coast. By far one of the biggest highlights of the trip!
One hour of mayhem! Free doughnuts. Oh yeah they also have cocktails there as well!
Nothing like a good Bloody Mary with your Bingo on Saturday morning.
Saturday Evening is dinner at the VooDoo cafe. For those who haven’t been it is highly recommended. Food is outstanding and the atmosphere is off the charts. Afterwards head up one flight of stairs to the VooDoo Lounge. Have to see if we can top last years performance of 11 Witch Doctor drinks. You know the ones in the large fish bowl? Of course you do! 11 downed between a group of 5 or 6 guys, not just myself. That would be suicide. Good Times.
Sunday is a day of rest. Mostly gambling, casino hopping and watching more hoops.
Monday morning is the return trip.
Wanna talk about a group of fired up people? It has been so darn cold all Winter we just all want to get out of here as soon as possible!
