One Night Stay in Cherokee NC - Two Thumbs UP!

Wasnt in room long but it was spacious and clean - which is all I require.

Got a great massage by Laura at the spa.

Had a nice run at the blackjack tables - when thing started to cool off decided it was time to hit the craps tables.

Made the mistake of taking a piss and walking around for a few minutes - because when I got to the tables I got in on the tail end of a five point fire bet!! Made some money but missed the fire.

About an hour later a gentleman on the other end of the table had a nice long run - and set the 6th point before the dreaded 7 came. Right after he threw the 7 I looked at the fire bet layout to see who else was on it and my red chip was gone!!!

We had some back and forth and I finally decided that maybe I hadnt bet it (even tho I always do) - I had been drinking all day - but I decided not to disrupt a hot table with friendly dealers so I made the decision that when I left the table I was gonna request a review of the tape.

That turned out to be not necessary because about 15 minutes after the roll ended a pit boss name Rich approached me and said they had reviewed the tape that I was correct and paid me!

I thought this was very fair and honest of them to check before I asked and to pay me w/ no real fuss on my part. Indian Casinos get a bad rap sometimes but I very pleased w/ the way they handled this. Even considering the missing chip - I found the dealers to be very competent and fun.

Nice job Harrah's Cherokee I will be back!!
