Does anyone know if there are One Eyed Jacks machines in Downtown?
I have never seen one, but then again, I have never seen a One Eyed Jacks Video Poker machine, period.
It's a tough game to find. And it's rarely listed on VPFree2 because the paytables are too poor to be listed. They say that Tuscany has a 98.96% game available.
Unfortunately i never really played it much because of the poor paytables and don't play much downtown, so I dunno what game king banks would have the game.
By itself I never have. I've seen them as options on Game Kings, but it's rarely offered.
I played it at Southland Park in Arkansas last year for a few minutes just for the hell of it. One more royal card would have been nice...
They used to (and might still) offer it on a few machines to the left of the Boar's Head bar, against the wall by valet entrance
Will be downtown Monday and will check if still there and if so get a paytable pic
My uncle plays One Eyed Jacks a lot at a casino in MN and always has good luck on it despite the poor paytable. Going to be downtown in a couple weeks with him so just thought I would check.
Well, MN is the one state where they used to offer quite a few 100.28% One Eyed Jacks machines. But I thought casinos got rid of all those machines with those paytables and casinos now fully comply with their 98% max return law. But maybe there are some still left. The One Eyed Jacks paytable I showed above is 97.95%. The full pay game (100.28%) pays 1000 coins on the wild royal and 250 on the straight flush.
One of the best games MN offers now is 9/6 "Straight Flush Deluxe" that returns 97.99%. I shockingly found that game at a bartop at Little Six casino. I failed to notice any One Eyed Jacks games in my visit in May though. Doh.
I believe you can still find OEJ downtown and off strip. Not sure exactly where though.
Still at MSS. @tringlomane will tell us the payback
96.97%. Boo. But at least it's offered I guess!
@Johnzimbo thanks for checking! Were they by the Boars Head bar like you had thought?
Yea, along wall between BHB and valet entrance
