MyVegas Once a year redemption?

I was in Vegas last week and I redeemed a B1G1 dinner buffet at The Mirage and a B1G1 lunch buffet at Bellagio. The person at the Mlife desk at The Mirage told me I can redeem 3 rewards in 30 days, and in addition, I can only redeem the same reward once in a 12-month period.

Was the person at the Mirage correct? I play on the mobile app and I've never bought coins.

For MGM Resort rewards, yes.

When looking at the rewards on the mobile games, click "Reward Terms and Conditions" where it shows you this.

You will notice in the terms that it says 3 per 30 days and limited to 1 per player. The latter part I interpret as 1 per lifetime but they some seem to reset after a year or they get renamed slightly which appears to reset them.

My question is, if you are not eligible to buy one does it stop you from buying it or do you find out at the desk?

What if I purchase a mirage 2 night stay spring. What would I be eligible for next time within a year? Could I use the 1 free night in the fall? Or what if they bring out a 2 night room for the fall, would I be eligible since I used a spring 2 free night?

Last year I used a 2 night stay at Luxor at the end of July. I have currently booked a 2 night stay at Aria at the end of June. It may be because it is a different hotel, but the system allowed me to purchase the reward. I also purchased a buffet reward I had last year.

You can't buy the SAME REWARD if restricted to one per person. So id you purchased the free dinner and then the free lunch you could still get the 2-4-1 or the (increasingly rare) 2 free lunches

You would probably not be eligible to buy it again within a year and possibly not in your lifetime unless it reset as mentioned. Sometimes they rename them or change the price of them and that seems to reset them and allow people to buy them again but this is random. Although I believe the members on here have reported that they were able to purchase some of the lower tier type rewards after a year.

Since you have purchased the 2 Night Stay you will be able to buy the 1 Night Stay as it a separate reward. I am going to try and do the opposite at the end of the year. We just used the 1 Night Stay and if the calendar works out I am going to buy the 2 Night Stay this fall.

If you are going with another person have them open an account and start playing. I cashed in 1 Night Stay at the Mirage and so did my wife so we bridged it into a free 2 Night Stay. You just tell them at check in and you will keep the room.

Two free nights at the Aria and two free nights at the Luxor are two separate rewards because they are at different hotels so it would make sense you could use one of each.
