I hope she is better in Vegas than on the road. We saw her at Mystic Lake Casino a couple of years ago and she was terrible. Mailed it in.

At the same time I expected to not like Donnie and Marie and loved it.

    Go figure!

Yeah, I just don't see Olivia having the chemistry with audiences that performers like Donny and Marie have. But, if she can still pull in the fans - more power to her.

I would imagine her doing a more laid-back approach this time around. She hasn't aged well, but her style has gone more country as time went on, and the voice still sounds great.

When one considers she's 64... not doing badly at all.

So Olivia belongs in Vegas, but Brittney doesn't... man I'm on the wrong message board.

My wife just reminded me that Olivia had "Physical" banned from some radio stations in Utah. The locals thought it was too suggestive. LOL - that's Utah.

Don't be distraught. There is room for both of them. One is an elegant, talented, seasoned professional with a beautiful singing voice who can even write songs, too. And then there's Britney.

Which in 2013 means that Britney will sell tons of tickets.

Grease star Olivia Newton-John has called off her upcoming Las Vegas residency to spend time with her sister, who is battling brain cancer.

The singer/actress was due to begin a series of shows at Sin City’s Flamingo hotel this summer but she is postponing the dates to support her elder sibling Rona, an actress who was once married to Grease actor Jeff Conaway.

In a statement, Newton-John says, “I received the very sad news that my beautiful sister, Rona Newton-John, has been diagnosed with brain cancer. In light of this news, I have decided to postpone my forthcoming Las Vegas residency to spend time with her and our family.
