I remember when an oldies band was one that played music from the 50's, then it was the 60's , then the 70's and now.....

What is an oldies band today ???

What, exactly, do you mean by "Oldies", as that term can mean anything from 1940s swing/jazz to 1980s hair/metal.

Orchid Lounge at Mandalay has some fun oldie music or if your looking for Rock n Roll type oldies Rhythm and Riffs lounge at Mandalay is good (I think it was formerly called Mizuya Lounge)

Apparently, "the oldies station" is one that plays the best of the 70's 80's, and 90's.
Oldies is a subjective term. According to Dad, "oldies" music is from when he was a wee lad....that'd be the 30's & 40's.
I can't imagine there's much of a market for that - anywhere - let alone Vegas.

I am not sure if they still do. However on Friday / Saturday nights Excalibur had great 60/70/80's cover bands, with a dance floor. It is not a lounge, but a bar on the edge of the casino with tables as well.

This has been mentioned in the forum before, but the Le Cabaret lounge at Paris has some great old school R&B acts.

    Enjoy your girls trip!

    Yes, mostly 70s to 2000s.

However it seems like the bands are not as consistent with the lineups as last August the one band seemed to be a mashup of Envy and Generation.
