Just to clarify for everyone. The casino is opening 28 October. The pool at the same time and will be available for guests at the D and GG. The Circa hotel will be later and Derek indicated it would be no later than 28 December.

The room design looks nice enough I suppose. But quite a clash of patterns and color. I guess I was expecting more of a retro-classy vibe. And I'm seeing more cheap flooring as opposed to nice, quality tile.

The bathrooms look decent and roomy. But that wallpaper is still hideous and cheap to me.

Reminds me of a quote from the great Dolly Parton: "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap".

    From the link to fivehundybymidnight:
Standard rooms at Circa will be available in a bunch of options:

    • Single King (+ Single King Pool View and Single King Strip View)
    • Double King (+ Double King Pool View and Double King Strip View)
    • Flex King (+ Flex King Pool View and Flex King Strip View)
    • Entourage King
Wouldn't "pool view" and "strip view" be the same room on the south side of the tower? The north side of the tower, opposite the pool, would have a view of North Las Vegas.

Well, I see Derek has really paid attention to who his customer is. The amount of room/seating/configs will appeal to the demographic he's aiming for, I suppose. Not my taste in particular, but better than most any hotel downtown with the exception of GN. I will be interested to see how the new tower at DTG compares.

The strip view rooms are the rooms higher in the tower with not as clear a view of the pool/pool screen

I really like the Bunk bed idea. Bachelor parties and Frat brothers will love it. It shows Circa is not catering only to the high end demographic.

They started filling a third pool with water. Progress.

i asked my host about opening reservations and she said 1/3/21 or 1/4/21. I wonder if 12/28 will be for invited guests only? May have to play real high this trip to get invited.

The bathroom renovations at the D were done right. I figured Circa would have good bathrooms.

I noticed it yesterday but it was just black. The colors really reflect well off the building. Should be interesting to watch them test it.

Moving video on the pool big screen right now. I can't quite tell what it is in the reflection - looks like an animated logo maybe.

If you mean the picture, then that's usually to test colors to make sure they are all working. If you mean you are there right now and can see the reflection, then record it and take pics as well, then post here! :)
