So on my recent trips, I have been getting away from the strip to drink a little more. Me and a friend who lived there hit Money Plays for some day drinking, and I swung by Franki's Tiki Room solo last time

I will be with a few friends this coming trip, and wanna talk them into going, more for a later night trip. The Double Down Saloon with it's punk rock vibe and juke box sounds kinda cool based on the website. Any other places that are good. None of us are "clubbers". We prefer a rock n roll based music, mayb some pool / shuffle board or pinball...mixed with a chance to mingle with single ladies

    suggestions?

There will be pushback on this point, but I like all of Fremont East. Plus it's like a block from FSE, in case you want to hit the tables (or go across the street to El Cortez).

Fremont East, I stopped in a bar or two solo on a prior trip. Didn't they close Insert Coins I think I read? That seemed like it would be a perfect hangout.

Insert Coins is closed and now a place called Red is in that space. I haven't been in at night, but on Sundays they show the NFL games on big screens.
    Other Fremont East bars:
    Park on Fremont
    Commonwealth
    Griffin
    Downtown Cocktail Room
    vanguard lounge
