Octavius, Julius, or Colosseum..

Same, along with the bars and restaurants I frequent, it’s literally the furthest tower away. As I said before, I think Palace is the sweet spot if at CP.
I used to like Augustus, but I think I’ll be Coliseum or Nobu when I stay this summer between MGM stays. I agree Palace rooms are better though.

My big issue with Nobu is that most offers can't be self booked with Nobu rooms unless they've fixed that? I always needed host to do it before. I don't care to have my host do anything these days. No tub also but you can order room service for real in Nobu rooms.

The elevator area used to be a bit of a mess when OH was there instead of Brasserie B. People would crowd the area. Doesn't seem to be an issue now though.

I’ve burned all my offers so wouldn’t know 😂.

And you can still book Nobu comped?
Yes, except some weekends. I do still get like $100FP or $200 dining offers but they have days blacked out so I don’t even bother looking anymore and just book the days I want without offers. Correction - I just looked and most days are showing around $60 now. I must have finally done in my offers in before this last trip a week ago.

I always considered the extra steps at CP a perk. Can get miles in without going outside. Every step helps with vacation diet.

Is that you, Tom Reeg? 😉 I personally prefer to get my steps in ways that aren’t a mandatory long-ass walk to my room, to be honest!

That’s fair. It’s the most frequent complaint I hear about the palace from people irl. I just enjoy walking. I did FB to PH daily on my last trip just to get my steps lol

Ha. I did that one day last July in 117 mid day heat and bought 2 bottles of water during the trip. When I arrived at FB I was in full sweat and the cocktail waitress handed me 3 bottles of water which I consumed in about 45 seconds. Not my best look.

I hear ya! I’m no @AlPal but I’ve walked from Downtown to the south Strip a time or two. Nothing wrong with getting your steps in!

Octavius is a PITA to walk to and it’s what they usually try and pawn off when they hit you with the #Upgrayedd (cf. @MCann).
Nah, I like Octavius rooms as good as or better than Augustus, and the elevators are only a few hundred feet from the Augustus ones; they're basically the same room but Octavius are slightly smaller, but the Octavius bathroom layout makes way more sense putting the shower next to the water closet so the sinks and counter isnt blocking egress from the tub like it partially does in Augustus. What they always want to pawn off as an #upgrayyed is the Palace rooms, which are smaller and lack jetted tubs, because the palace tower has about as many rooms as Octavius and Augustus put together, and they want to make sure everyone has to walk up and down unnecessary stairs and experience that vomit and sewage smell every time they come ahd go from the room. Probably keeps people spending money more because the location is inconvenient and it smells, or something.
