    My Trip Report

So I am going to start my report here.

This will be my 9th visit to the gleaming desert showcase. We are staying at Bally's 4 nights all comped and now resort fee free. We are low-rollers but consistent at CaesarsWindsor and do well with rooms.

The plan is to fly in tomorrow morning. I checked in at SWA but 1.5 hours late and got Boarding C1/C2. My wife has a bad knee and needs an aisle row. They allow her to preboard and me with her. Usually we take the aisle and the window and nobody site between us but if someone asks, I move to the middle seat. It might be shady but it sometimes gets us the whole row on non-full flights. We do this when booking seats too. Sometimes nobody books the middle seat and other time the do. Flying out of Detroit in October direct. I am pretty sure the flight will be full.

When we land, we are going to pick up the car from Hertz, I have a couple free nights through Hertz from renting for work travel so the cost is not bad. We will drive to Arizona Charlies Decatur for the 11am session and morning donuts. After that maybe another round or head to Bally's to check in.

I hope to get a room with the tub in the sleeping area, I love baths. I am going to offer a $50, I have no faith in the $20 trick. $50 divided by 4 nights at $0 already invested is no big deal really. If not I get it back.

Tuesday night we plan to play at Rio. We are going to eat at the Rio Buffet, Thanks to @azlew for the coupons! We enjoyed it and love the seafood buffet. At the Rio there are mechanical Red Hots Jackpots slot. This game in Windsor gives us lots of small returns and occasional mini and mid jackpots that lets us play for a long time so we want to try them here.

After the Rio we want to hit the 1am Bingo session at Southpoint. I know we are all over the map but it is how we roll. Not sure after that.

Wednesday is the Downtown day. We are going to hit City Hall for a marriage license, the outlet mall then crawl Fremont. The wife (soon to be legally, next trip) will play at the Plaza and I am going to GN or the D for poker. We will meet up later for Nacho Daddy. After dinner it is off to all you can drink beer at the final home game of the season for the Las Vegas Light FCs. I love soccer and try to see a live game anywhere I travel. Close the night with the 1am session at Southpoint again

Thursday is a Diamond strip day. We are going to play local or travel out not. Have to hit CasinoRoyale so I ca n place an MLS future bet and the wife wants to play the fishing game with the interactive reels. The later half is Diner at BLT steak to use or $100 Diamond Dinner offer and then to see Sex Tips For Straight Women From a Gay Man for out Diamond show at Paris. Then it is maybe the Harrah's Piano Bar. Finally the 1am SP session (see the trend). 40% chance or rain this day, go figure it snowed on us in Feb so this is 100% but 0.07" is like pissing the wind. But only 77f, ugh.

Friday is unplanned really, there will be bingo and I am going to play BJ Arizona Charlies or BJ/Poker at Southpoint probably. I might look for a bigger buy in tournament game if the week has been going fine.

Saturday and more AZC or SP and finally return the car to come home.

The report will be semi-live but I am going to see. I will grab snaps and find answers if people have questions.

Just a heads up, the Rio eliminated the premium seafood selection from their buffet. They still have the regular seafood section. Have fun, and good luck. Oh, congrats on the nuptials.....cheers!

    Thank you!

When did the premium seafood go? We had it in February. Ugh! Last time we sat across from a family that just gave us their lobster tickets. We gorged on 10 pieces each, disgusting in hindsight but yum.

Right? I'm a dual daub chaser. I will make a sheet of all the pots before I go so i know where I should hit if the slots suck. The good ones always seem to go the week before i leave :/
Stations had their jumbo progressive go when we were playing at palace (they link them for that game), it was at 190,000! When it goes all the games in the session turn into $1000 games. Was pretty fun even though we didn't win any. Waste of all my rainbows though hahaha. I think that one was an odd/even.

The new lobby bar at Bally's should be open during your trip, if you get a chance please grab some photos and post them? Enjoy and good luck!!

    So we are here.

    PANORAMA out my window Seat

We preboarded because my wife has a bunk knee and I sat at the window and she at the aisle and no one sat between us, we had the whole row.

Grabbed the rental and stopped at Fry't to get a new rapid charger for my phone, I left mine in my car at DTW.

1st casino stop was Arizona Charlies. I proceeded to spilt the 1st card w ways on blue for $25. Then my wife spilt 5 way on the second card for $8. Nothing the next card and then I split 5 ways on blur for another $8. A few games later she won a double line on orchid for $200. So we are up $120 after paying for our round.

Went to Jimmy Johns for lunch on the way to Bally's as is our tradition.

We checked into our room and I ask for the in room tub upgrade, I tipped $20 after the fact be we talked about the trick. She said it sometimes helps but ultimately it is about room availability and expected occupancy. I can't say if she did it knowing I was going to tip. She gave us a bunch of coupons and $10 food credit for not using house keeping. It is $10 per trip now not per night.

    View from the 23rd floor.

We booked out show, Sex Tips for Thursday and our reservation to BLT Steak. We have a $100 celebration dinner and the box office gave us a free champagne voucher for BLT. The TR desk gave us 25% off the buffet at Paris for breakfast/lunch so that works out great.

That is it for now. I have to go to Walmart to buy water and some odds and ends, I need to get a quick hair cut too, lol. lazy me.

3-10s always lose to 3-Qs.

Bye bye poker bankroll. Lost 100 I was certain to double. Ugh.

Nicely done on the bingo! The room I had with that tub was up 2 marble steps....I was solo and terrified that I would trip during the night and die of a head injury from all the marble....lol!

    WEDNESDAY

Sorry for the delay, I did say it would be live maybe.

We started the day at Arizona Charlies.
    IMG_20181009_095822.jpg
The 11 am session has 3 coveralls for $1k each and the wife won the 3rd coverall alone. She did that last trip too, go figure 3rd chance almost is never alone. We were chasing a 60k+ Double Action. No dice.
    IMG_20181009_095931.jpg

Anyway. We went downtown Wednesday but did not go for the license. We did not have the exact dates of our divorces and could not properly complete the forms. I should have done them online before we left. Stupid and a tip for others. Do it online before you get there.

We went to Nacho Daddy for lunch. It was so-so, we like the one on the strip (PHo) so much better and the staff here had that glazed over look of being high. Margarita was good.
    IMG_20181010_133028.jpg

The wife went off to play Bingo at Plaza, thanks again @azlew for the coupons! She won some but did not cover her cost. I played a poker cash game and blew my $100. My 3-10s lost to 3-Qs.

That night we drove to the Las Vegas Lights FC soccer game vs Phoenix. They were trailing 2-1 at half and not playing well at alll. LV is 3rd last and Phoenix is 2nd place. The second half the LV lit the place up and won 5-2. Woot!
    IMG_20181010_200734.jpg

Closed the night with some Southpoint action. Some roulette and more Bingo.. The wife won and another 300. So +200, yeah!

I'm happy your wife and you used the bingo coupon and Rio buffet coupons. Living in the Phoenix area I wasn't aware of a soccer team in our area. Nice report!
