I know it must have tons of security. And certainly you can’t just walk up to it easily. If that were here in the states we’d pick that thing clean like a Thanksgiving Turkey.

Honestly, I'm not a romantic, and if I want a piece of jewellery, I go buy it. But, if Bob came home with that ladder I would feel so loved. There must be something wrong with me.

Beautiful tree. I'm surprised there is no security barrier of any kind!

This got me visioning a roly poly Santa running after a thief, white beard and red cap flapping in the wind.....:haha:

We got home from our Thanksgiving at the beach where we talked to mom about whether or not we were going to put up a tree because we won't be here. Dan says he have to put up SOMETHING or it won't feel like Christmas at home. Mom really wanted us to put up her fake tree, which she gave us this year when she got a smaller/skinny tree for her home.

We got it set up and I put a few ornaments on it, but I wouldn't say it's my best decorating I've ever done. We used about half the ornament box, and none of the strings of beads or ribbons. I think it looks a little naked. But I'm going to need sleep when I get home from my Christmas trip, not more clean up to do. :)

Not only did you set up and decorate that lovely tree @Sonya, you have wrapped presents under the tree already. What’s up with that Miss organized smarty pants? I’m still in the dusting and vacuuming stage before I can set up my tree, lol.
    Ruby is so photogenic

I only have one item under my tree, so far. LOL Costco had a huge pallet of their Egg Nog when I stopped by today, so I picked up a bottle... :santa:

Thank you all for sharing your trees....please keep them coming!

I am not doing much in the way of decorating this year since this is our first year ever not being home for Christmas and our first year ever celebrating Christmas in Vegas! But I love Christmas trees so still had to have a couple. I will be keeping ours up until January 5th at least as we have a gathering on the 4th of friends we won't see over the holidays.

Bring on those trees! I am enjoying all the different themes and am thinking, after seeing the trees shared, I need to do one with coloured lights next year. They give me a warm feeling <3

1800 lights in total. Took me two different days to put them on because I am OCD.

That's all mom. She likes to shop early and we swap presents over Thanksgiving to save the shipping money. She drove out from Idaho to meet us on the WA coast. Then drove down the coast to drop off gifts for my sister and her family in San Francisco. I'm pretty sure she's in Reno tonight. She's a maniac, which apparently is where I get it from. :)

I do too! She got to Nevada and was going to stop, but worried about the weather, so she just pushed on through to Boise. She's a warrior and I am unworthy. :haha:

I'm not even bothering with a tree or decorations for the first time ever. It always meant so much to my mom and me. After going one year without finding another Nursing Supervisor, we recently hired one back in July. It's not that the position takes a lot of brains. Or I wouldn't be in it. It just can be stressful juggling all the crap that goes along with it. There is not much of pay raise involved so must people don't want the headache. Hence in over one years time we only had three applicants. In her interview she blew everyone's socks off. I was skeptical because she was almost too confident for someone who has never supervised. Some people know how to interview. Anyways I posted on another thread that she quit without notice -- just texted in her resignation. We had the holiday schedule out. This was going to be the first I could remember having Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off. So now I will probably have to work and miss my Grandson's first Christmas. For the next two weeks it's just me working as our part-time supervisor had scheduled vacation -- she takes her Christmas early. Thankfully she is working Christmas Day night. I might be able to have a partial Christmas with my family - but I will be too tired first thing in the morning.

Anyways, Bah humbug and all that. Thanks to everyone posting your pictures. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

That is so disappointing @Valgal; I hope you get to spend time at Christmas with your family and grandson.
