Bring the Segway this trip? Would be fun to go along the Strip on a Segway.

    Good luck and win lots!

    Have a great trip.
I didn't see Crazy Rich Asian slot at NYNY three weeks ago, but might be there now. Glad to learn it's arrived at Cosmopolitan.

OK, made it to the room. Some random notes:

The plane down from San Jose was completely full. Not all passengers were bound for Las Vegas, as the plane was a "milk run", making stops in Odessa, Houston, before arriving in Miami.

McCarran Airport was pretty full. Much fuller than the last 5 trips (monthly since December).

The rental car bus line was 100 people long, but that's 5 fully loaded busses. (22 people each, and I got on a bus in 10 minutes.

When I got to the car rental place, there were what looked to be 45 min. - 2 hour long lines at both Avis and Budget.

Hoping that I wouldn't have any problems with my Fastbreak status, I went outside to the Fastbreak booth and there were only two people, as opposed to the Avis booth where there was 10 or so.

My name was not on the sign, but the boothling (I hate using that word to describe someone who's helping me), found my reservation and told me where my car was.

My car was a Nissan Versa, and I opted to use American Express Premium insurance, with the firm knowledge that they DO NOT cover flat tires.

I got to my room, a Park Premier King with View in the New Yorker tower.

I used my digital key to get into both the elevator AND the room. A note, that you need to activate your digital key BEFORE you get on the elevator, because wireless doesn't always work in the elevator.

I got off on the 17th floor, activated my digital key, and all was good.

The room was even close to the elevator.

When I opened the door, I was faced with a long hallway.
    upload_2021-4-24_11-52-10.png
    The room is very spacious

    upload_2021-4-24_11-52-58.png
    The bathroom was standard
    upload_2021-4-24_11-53-26.png
The desk had only one outlet available, but I always come prepared, and now it has three plugs available

    The view is nice

Now that I'm settled in, I think that I will go downtown to take care of some odds and ends. Blue cap Silver strikes at the Plaza, and Free Play/Match play chips at the D.

    You're now up to date.

That roller coaster view is actually kind of neat in my opinion. And crap! I forgot about silver strikes. I totally would have gone and played until I got one, if available, when we went downtown last week. D'oh!

Curious if you can hear the roller-coaster much in room? Saw some mention elsewhere they found some rooms noisy.
    Good luck!

Well, downtown at Plaza was "OK". As it turns out, Downtown is pretty much back to normal. I was charged $20 to park at the Plaza.

Accomplished my first trip bucket list goal, getting two Blue cap Silver Strikes for friends. $341 and I got this
    upload_2021-4-24_14-39-20.png
22 clad + 2 blue caps equates to about $260, so they "cost" me $80.

Came back to the room to a surprise!!! This is why I always tip my host. I haven't received a gift basket since I was 7* and CET still used to do it.

I had stopped off at 7-11 on my way back to pick up some snacks, but as it turns out, it wasn't necessary.

Very thoughtful, and I'm going downstairs to say hello and give her a "red envelope" as a thank you.

Well, I would have to say that the trip had been pretty downbeat for the first few hours, but even an old, blind squirrel can find a nut in the winter.

Nothing good at all, and well into tomorrow's budget, when I sat down and hit this
    upload_2021-4-24_17-24-32.png
Still I was ground down out of that, and my $400 FP, and into my second marker, when I hit this handpay

    upload_2021-4-24_17-26-40.png
No, it didn't put me ahead, no, I am not even, still down about 1/2 a day's budget. Time to take a break. I may go down to Wynn and play a little, or maybe go shopping at Cosmopolitan.

Omg Spartacus! Biggest money suck ever and I keep playing because I know the bonus must be so great if it sucks money that bad and pays so little on line hits lol. I put in $200 at Luxor earlier this week and got down near zero, then connected on half a screen of 5 in a row on the tall side paying back a little over half, then got a couple small 5 in a rows each connect with the mini progressive, but never got a bonus, and finally walked away about $120 down, only doing $1 bets. So that's just phenomenal what you got there!

Not a Ninebot S. Maybe if I had one of the "Paul Blart" (as BFF likes to call them) Segways.
