I have been to Vegas once since TAG closed down and I really miss that place. I love craft beer and they had a great selection. My question is where is your preferred bar now that will comp most/all craft beer. I'm looking for something with an eclectic mix like TAG had, all while playing some VP (don't care as much about paytables if I'm in the mood for beer).

And to TAG on to this (pun intended), where is your favourite VP bar to get comped cocktails? I know Chandelier Bar is great, any others? Thanks in advance.

PS: I hope TRING speaks up as he is the VP/Craft beer guru

Not on the strip but the M has a great bar for craft beers and decent VP payouts. I think it is called 32 degrees

96 beers on tap too. It's a bit of a hidden gem for craft beer lovers.

This is the best for sure. 7/5 Bonus, 9/5 DDB w/prog. for quarters and 96 taps. This place has been crazy enough to comp Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout ($23/4 pack) and Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout ($25/750 ml) in the past.

As for the strip...mehhhhhh. It's still probably worth checking the "beer wall" at the Book. Most of the 24 beers are crap, but there are still a few I see there on Untappd that I would try.

Harrahs main bar occasionally has some crafty stuff too. Cosmo sports book as well. SLS has a bit of decent selection with excellent maintained taps at Unami Bar (also 7/5 Super Aces for 25c+). Bellagio Sports Book offers Dogfish Head 90 minute and has decent games and great service.

Re Cocktails: I only bother with Chandelier. Lol

It's ok. But last trip (September) it was good because the best bartender at Catalyst (Dan) swiped a lot of beers from TAG and stowed them away. By now I sorta doubt there is a lot left slash I might clean more out ~soon. Lol

I was there in November, not a big fan of their drafts there. Not too bad but could be better. I still love playing at Catalyst though, Linq is one of my favs to hang out at.

Also forgot to mention I do enjoy the beer at MSS so we always hit BHB when we are in town.

Thanks for the suggestion. Can't believe I have never heard, nor been to this place. It sounds like i could spend all day there. I already told the wife we are going there in June. Can't wait.

Yes as long as your playing. You will love it there. We always go there for the buffet which is very good in my opinion and has a few beers on tap there too.

Has anyone been to the local joint Ichabods Lounge? Seems kind of divey and I am thinking about trying that for some VP.

They are comped while playing at the bartop. As I recall it's a slightly smaller glass than a full pint but they keep 'em coming when you play.
They're on the Untappd app now too.

Yes, even crazy expensive beers in terms of retail (when available). As @ardee says, they are Untappd if you would like to see the full menu currently.

    Regarding M Resort:
    1. They currently have a loss rebate promotion for new members, up to $300. If you go to Vegas once or twice a year it's probably not an advantageous promotion.
    2. It's a beautiful property. If you care to look through an old trip report, I posted several pictures here.
    3. At 32 Degrees Bar, if you're wanting to play the 7/5 BP or 9/5 DDB with progressive that @tringlomane mentioned, be sure to sit on the correct side of the bar. The last time I visited, one side had the progressive and the other side did not. The side of the bar furthest away from the Vig Sports Deli was the side that had the progressive.
    4. Here is the 32 Degrees Bar beer menu. I would not recommend the Able Baker Test Site. It's a local beer, brewed in Henderson. Joseph James, also in Henderson, has better stuff in my opinion.
    Have fun!

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I will definitely sign up for the Marquee Rewards. I assume slots includes Video Poker? It says if you lose $300 you can get $300 in free play? EDIT: Does that mean that you have to lose an actual $300 of cash in or $300 total by spinning?

Video poker is included in slots. If you lose $300, you will get $150 in free play for one 30 day period and another $150 in free play for another 30 day period. For example, I got one dispersement of free play valid July 30-Aug 29 and another dispersement valid Aug 30-Sep 29.

It’s lose, not simply coin-in. That would be awesome if it was just coin-in.

$300 of actual cash. But you can lose less. You will get free play back for your actual loss if it's less than $300 (probably rounded down to a round unit, ie if you lose $285, they probably give you $280... maybe $250.). But it will come in two installments after your initial visit and you will only have 30 days to use each installment. So unless you plan to come back to Vegas later in the summer, it won't help you.

Ah ok thanks for clarifying. As you mentioned before we only go to Vegas 1 or 2 times a year but I may spend enough to take advantage of at least $150 in free play .

If I lose say $200 in one day can I cash in free play right away or is there a waiting period?
