As I stated yesterday in the COVID-19 Information thread, we have a growing problem here on VMB and are creating a new policy to manage it. Unfortunately, the wearing of masks has become a political football to be used against both sides of the issue. So, here is the new policy: We are looking forward to everyone's posts about visits to their local, tribal and eventually Nevada casinos. We hope that you will report on masks being required or not required, whether they provide one for you and what it is like, general usage in the casino, etc. Anything factual or informative for people planning or deciding on their next trip to the casino is encouraged and appreciated. However, opinions, gripes, jokes and political statements about masks will be edited out and a No Politics Warning (1 point) will be issued. You may feel it is "stupid" to wear/not wear a mask, but I am asking you not to share that here. You may have beliefs about the efficacy of masks, but we ask you not to share those here. You may feel it is an overreach to be required to wear one, but please refrain from sharing that here. What we are asking is that we avoid the debate over masks in general, to keep as many threads as possible from devolving and being closed to comments. Our recommendation is going to be that if a casino "suggests" or "urges" you to wear a mask in the casino, you should wear one. Of course, the decision ultimately is between you and the property. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. As always, my PMs are open to anyone who has comments, questions, or concerns about VMB policies.
