VERY easy on the eyes!
That occurred to me as well, however, why not let her do her video from 8:30AM to 10AM, (if you're going to be telling players that the table will be open at 10)?
It was just poorly handled by the El Co...and I wasn't alone - there were at least 5 or 6 other players who came to the table during between 10:00 & 10:15, and they were unhappy as well.
...but I'm over it now... and I've abandoned my plan to 'snark' up her YourTube channel.
(I will make it a point to watch her UTH video, if only to see whether a "fuming" topcard can be seen in the background!
Great TR. I assume no single deck pitch a ywhere or did they have the $25 table open at ElCo?
Thanks Top for the great report and the info on the happenings downtown. I get in Thursday and I know @mescalita will be there. Hopefully, we’ll have some additional news to share.
Single deck was available - I saw 3 tables: 2 @ $10 min & 1 @ $50. All shoe-dealt, face-up.
Regarding el-co craps: I did ask the pit-critter in the main blackjack pit why they were keeping the craps at $10 min when the table was empty, with a full crew in the morning hours.
His reply? "Not my casino, so I don't make the rules. If I did, then that table would be $5 right now, and at any other time when there were no players."
I was going to ask that as well. That’s good news. I thought it would only be double deck since it’s all face up.
Did they redo the table layout or is pretty much the same set up?
Tables all look the same...it's just that some of them have the plexiglass dividers creating 4 spots...but all tables only allow 3 players.
Ok. I wasn't sure if they took some tables out or rearranged them differently in the casino. I'm sure you remember a few years back they had BJ tables where the craps tables are, etc.
Yeah...I remember, but no - just slots around the two tables, just like it has been... & they never had more than one crap-table open - at least while I was on the floor.
Another important FYI though - The "beer tubs" were stocked & there in the pit!!
Single deck face up - nice! Thanks for the update.
If Circa opens later this year, and if (a big if, admittedly) they offer me a room, I will definitely be there in December (or whenever it is they actually open).
That building is huge (for downtown)... photos do not do it justice. I'm truly looking forward to experiencing that place!
Without getting into details, my employer will be offering an antibody test in late July. Additionally, I'm hearing/reading news reports that, if true, would calm most everyone about coming back.
I am not shy about my health... if I end up getting this thing as a result of this trip (if I didn't already get it during my December 2019 trip), in the spirit of full disclosure, I will report it here - HIPPA be damned!
I got an email the other day saying that Circa was opening their first five floors on October 28 ahead of schedule
We’re opening October 28, 2020!
Previously slated for a December 2020 launch, our 1.25 million-square-foot integrated casino-resort will open with its first five floors of amenities and state-of-the-art parking hub – Garage Mahal – ahead of schedule. Room & suite reservations available June 24 at 9:00am. Click here for more details on this special announcement.
Thanks for the great information and TR @topcard. Looks like you had a fun time with a minimal dip into the red. All in all not too shabby for a run in Vegas shortly after the reopening. Hope we can make a run at the tables on Fremont together next summer.
Just let me know when you set dates! (I'm assuming July 2021).
If you get a wild hair & decide to go in December, let me know!
I'm anxious to give Circa a try (assuming the mask restrictions are more relaxed by then).
