Will be in town next week and looking for a good comedy show to go to. We are staying at MSS but location is not an issue. Looking for a good standup show for a two couples in our 50’s.

    Thanks!

As stated - Carrot Top is the best standup act in Vegas.

Comedy Clubs largely depend on who happens to be there at the time. We have done those many times - but none have been as funny as Carrot Top's resident show.

Absinthe also has good comedy elements - combined with acrobatic and musical acts. But it is very adult-oriented and not PC so have to have an open mind.

As for Stand up, it looks like Brad Garrett's club has Eddie Ifft. I have heard of him, but can't think of anything off the top of my head that he's done.

Rich Hall is going to be at the Laugh Factory. Again, haven't seen much of his stand up but he was on SNL for a bit and I know he's a pretty big name. And his feature is going to be Dennis Regan, who is Brian Regan's brother.

I think if I was going to be there next week, my choice for stand up would be to go to the Comedy Cellar at Rio. First, it's a legendary new york club, so unless you've been to the original one (which I haven't) it might be a cool experience. Secondly, they're going to have a longer lineup, which means more variety but also shorter sets. So if someone sucks, you'll have less time to have sit through. Finally Jackie Fabulous is performing and I thought she was really funny on AGT last summer.

If you are there this Thursday Jimmy Kimmel's club has Ian Bagg headlining, he is great and really good with crowd work. Also Steve Trevino is there this coming weekend, we saw him about a year ago in Dallas and he is very funny.

Another vote for Carrot Top - hilarious

Also loved Brad Garret's club but this is obviously dependent on who is there - we saw 4 good ones including Brad

I like Piff the Magic Dragon at the Flamingo!

Although they need to move him to another room somewhere in the CET portfolio his current showroom is awful and the seats are very uncomfortable.
