"comedian Ron White is scheduled in July at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi."

    I hope I get a junket offer.

With an upcoming trip to Biloxi I have somewhat mixed feelings about this. I like the idea of things getting back to normal with hopes of table minimums dropping some and the enjoyable chaos that comes from the craps tables when playing, but not sure I’m ready for someone to be right up on me either.

I will take it as it comes and enjoy the trip because I’m not planning to be inside the casino 24/7. May have to adjust my playing times, but not going to let it affect my vacation.

Not sure this means all casinos will change their policies.

Okay... we're not going to do the masker vs anti-masker thing in this thread. :nono: It's fine to provide the information, but I do not care to host the back and forth.

I'm cleaning this up and we'll try it again.

We just got back from Biloxi and craps limits are still high. We were there very late Thursday until Monday afternoon and at the Beau and the cheapest was $15 and with most tables $25 on Friday and Saturday. The IP was $25 all the time and the Hard Rock was $15 to $25 as well. Hopefully they go down but don’t be surprised if they don’t

I’ve prepared myself for $15 which is a bit out of my comfort zone (read I can’t play exactly as I want to), but surely won’t play at a higher minimum. We will be there from Sunday til Wednesday so hoping that the crowds might be lighter and the minimums down.....but not expecting it.

I think they will be lower during the week. When I got my email from the IP I complained about high table limits. I like the IP for craps but not at $25.

We have a trip on the books for June. Personally, this is good news. We're both fully vaccinated and of course, anybody that wants to can still wear a mask and I'm sure some will.

Already booked for Vegas next week or I would be headed to Biloxi. No mask rules for me.

Curious to know anything you can find out about craps tables. I will be staying at Beau Rivage, but want to try playing at all the casinos there on my trip (unless the games are greater than $15).

On our local TV news at noon, they had a story about this with a list of what some casinos had decided. While the Gaming Commission has rescinded their mandatory mask rules, individual casinos can continue their own restrictions if the desire to. The list today cited the Beau Rivage as continuing to have masks required while Palace, Treasure Bay, and Scarlet Pearl will not have masks required. The other casinos had not announced their intentions prior to the story running.

So happy to hear that about the Beau. We may not cancel our trip after all.

Appreciate the info RDM... I wonder if that's more company driven for the Beau given most of their properties are in LV? Please let us know if you hear any more news over the next month. I doubt we'll go if they're still mandatory in mid June.

Any updates on mask requirements in the casino and/or pool at the Beau Rivage?

I'm okay with a lady being right up on me :). Plexiglass dividers are great when a dude is next to you lol

Staying at Island View since it’s for Mother’s Day and my sons 21st birthday I’m at their mercy as to where we go and what we do. But the IV has $10 craps all day today. No mask mandate. All slot machines are on and full tables. Only one craps table open and it was full every time I passed. Let you know what tomorrow looks like.
