Mine are Sun-Thu, but that's all they ever were before they stopped, so, I'm still happy that things are back to what they were.
I did give their UTH table considerable play in April, so maybe that helped some.

I got it this last qtr, and I'm not a huge player, in my experience your offer will change every qtr, for instance last qtr I was tier 1 and get 100 food and something like $80 free play, this qtr I'm tier 2 and get 50-40, next qtr could be the sun-thur stuff, no consistency at all..

They dwindle, and then they come back, why I dont know, for instance I was there last august - gave them a lot of play(for me), and in the fall qtr my offer was poor, for the winter it was better, and then boom, I got a good offer in the spring.

Nothing had changed, hadn't given them a min of play since last year.

I sometimes think if you return visit quickly, they think they have you hooked and dont need to give you a decent offer?

Love it when people complain about not getting free stuff....

That was my experience too. I was getting only Sunday - Thurs comped nights for a few seasons. Then I got a weekend and stayed and played there. That was followed by Sunday-Thurs only again nights. Go figure.

    *shrug*
#1 - not truly "free" - a part of the system they put in place to entice gamblers to stay with them.
#2 - not a "complaint" about not getting comped... there are plenty of properties that do not comp me & I certainly understand why they don't.
#3 - when your history with a property is that they comp you at a certain level, and that goes away, and play levels have not changed, or have even gone up, that player is going to feel slighted.

I think some of you are taking the offers way too personal.

My assumption would be that offers are more generous during slower times, and possibly reduced during peak times.

Offers are not rewards, they are a means to get people in the seats.

I also got the Sun-Thurs comp + $25 food offer, my first time back on their radar in years. Does anyone know if these can be used on the new premium tower rooms or if you have to pay the resort fee?

i doubt if those rooms are an option when you put in the comp code, could be wrong though, I didn't pay a resort fee when i used a comp but I think I heard some people on a comp might have to. You'd have to ask them.

Wow, you know the Apocalypse is near when you can't catch a comp at the El-Co.

No resort fee with a comped room at El-Co.
...and, yeah - the "premium Tower rooms" are included (if you choose "Tower" over Cabana suite).

I swing by there for a couple hours whenever I'm in town, and I have 3 nights/40 FP/50 dining for 3rd quarter 2019, and the same just came in for 4th quarter.

OK, I'll bite. How much did you play in April to get that better offer?

...about my normal amount...perhaps a bit less (in terms of blackjack hours put in)...but I played quite a bit at their new UTH table.
Total for that trip? Probably 3-to-4 hours daily, split pretty evenly between blackjack & UTH.
Perhaps they're a bit more generous with how they rate UTH.

I would imagine that UTH has a better comp formula than BJ. The BJ house advantage at El Cortez is razor thin. Best BJ game I know of in Las Vegas for non-counters.

I just got my fall offer, 3 days anytime, $40 freeplay and $50 food, I think that's level 2, with 1 being the highest. I was there in june and gave them maybe $4-5K a day on VP along with several hrs of BJ at mostly $10-15 a hand(I do push it up when winning)
