Staying at Planet Hollywood this past weekend, decided to walk across the street to Cosmo while I waited for the wife to get up and around. Not 5 minutes in, on a $1.50 bet look at this hit. I'm still in shock! :woohoo:

No, the way to think of it is . . . if he'd put in $4.00, it wouldn't have come up that way . . . . .

Just like when I hit a Platinum Quick Hit for $12,000 when betting less than max ($10 vs. $15 a pull).

With regards to slot machines, you would drive yourself nuts if you started thinking about "what ifs".

I remember one of my first jackpots were on a wizard of oz machine in the bellagio. Didn't realize the machine was set to $.10 instead of $0.01 (you could choose the denomination) Just about died when I realized I had just made a $25 pull, but had $3,500 payout! Lucky Lukcy!
 
Thanks! I sat there and let every credit rack up on it too. Took a good half hour, I probably looked like a lunatic just sitting there by myself laughing out loud the whole time.

ScottE, that is a lucky break! I made that mistake on a quarter video poker machine at Venetian (without the jackpot). Put in a hundred and hit max bet....not noticing that it was a 100 credit machine. Didn't realize it until I got jacks or better and the thing just kept racking up credits. Confusion for a second, then looked around to see if the wife saw that. She did and I tried to give it my best "i meant to do that" look while I reached for the cash out button. Cheers!

Try that on a Stinkin Rich slot with 100 lines! I hit max bet and went through my big TITO before I realized I was on a higher denom machine. lol Unfortunately I didn't hit diddly!

No progressive. It just tripped a bonus. It managed to catch all of the bonus boosters and all four of them came into play on this spin. Got a multiplier, extra wilds, 3 wild reels and an extended reel. I snapped a pic while the credits were racking up.....

Nicely done......must have been really fun to watch all that video action.

Good thing the machines are TITO now.....you would have needed a dump truck for all those pennies !

I do like this Wizard of Oz slot, the tornado bonus is fun!
 
That is awesome! I haven't won anything on the new machines and last trip I had to finally give up. Now next weekend I will be giving them another shot. CONGRATS!!!
 
Very nice ! You mentioned it took about a half hour for the all the credits to complete and was wondering if you can hit the spin button on a video machine to complete all the credits instantly like you can on a reel slot ?

Me either. I've won $1000 on Thunder Cash and came close on a few penny slots but still no handpay at Cosmo.
