It is over BEATDOWN , no excuses on Fischer , that is pat of the game, Refs that is part of the game , Reid and his son ?? no opinion he has a history with his kid's , Mahomes he is great , but he met his match in Barrett and the Defense Bowles thru at him , they said he ran over 400 yards running away from those guys , ESPN might be exaggerating as far as 400 yds , but man that kid ran all night from pressure , Chettah disappeared in the jungle , Kelce was the only one that did something , Chiefs will be great next year would love a rematch with the same personnel , Doubt that happens with free agency , But don't feel bad you got beat by a better team in all phases of the game.

I also love how everyone was so quick to lay an asterisk on the Dodgers, Lightning and Lakers championships this year but when it comes to Tom Brady I've heard nothing of the sort.

The NFL however, did play a full season of games unlike the other leagues.

Unless someone goes back in time and prevents the births od Michael Jordan, Jim Brown, and Jim Thorpe, I don't think there is any debate about TB2 as greatest athlete of all time. Best QB, sure. Best football player, definitely an argument to be made. But best athlete, no way

As far as goat in football, his name will definitely be mentioned in the future....the same as Russell in basketball and Richard in hockey.

As being the greatest athlete....not even close.., I’m not a hater.

I agree with you , he is a football player , a QB that's it , that he will go down in history as the best QB to play the game the numbers say that , best football player , I don't agree with that , but QB there will never , ever be another one like him. Mahomes is got some years left but he will never catch up to him , Hope they play a rematch next year , wishful thinking , But he is the GOAT as far as QB's.:peace:

I'm a big fan of Bruce Arians, really glad he could win one as head coach.

As for the Chiefs, I'm ambivalent about them, but I don't feel sorry for Andy Reid, you reap what you sow.

A weird stat. Both Tampa SB wins came in years where they were swept by the New Orleans Saints.

Found some interesting results of props from the game. I thought the 10K to win 200.00 was on the crazy side.

@rooster42000 Congrats on the Bucs. I was not sure they had it in them but they had more than enough.

    A few other notable bets:

-One bettor at The Borgata in New Jersey wagered $275,000 on the Bucs + 0.5 (-125) in the first quarter. He won that wager, and then and then rolled his winnings into a $486,000 two-leg parlay of Tampa Bay + 7.5 in the second half and the second-half under of 28.5. Both legs cashed and the bettor won $1 million.

“We ended in a great position for the full game, but we got crushed on the second half by that parlay that won a million,” Thomas Gable, sportsbook director at The Borgata told VSiN. “People were also pounding Tampa Bay plus the points on the second-half line. All in all, though, it exceeded my expectations and we wrote more business this year than last year despite restricted capacity.”

-One BetMGM bettor won $8,100 off a $450 bet on Rob Gronkowski to score the game’s first TD at 18-1 odds

-One New Jersey bettor at William Hill wagered $3,000 on Patrick Mahomes to throw zero TD passes at 15-1 odds. He won $45,000 when Mahomes had two INTs and no TD passes.

-A bettor at PointsBet wagered $10,000 that the opening kickoff wouldn’t be returned for a TD. He won $200.

-One New Jersey bettor at William Hill loaded up on Sammy Watkins props. He bet:

$6,666 on Watkins to score first Chiefs TD at 15-1

$4,000 on Watkins to score game's first TD at 25-1

$1,000 on Watkins to win Super Bowl LV MVP at 200-1

Watkins had 1 catch for 13 yards.

-Tipico Sportsbook in New Jersey had a booster (+ 6900) for Rob Gronkowski if he had exactly 69 yards receiving. They offered a $69 max bet.

Gronk finished with 6 catches for 67 yards. It would have cost them over $100K.

I needed the opposite for my high odds parlay that would have made me a winner on the night. Meh. But at least he didn't blow it.

That defence brought me back to 2002! A relentless pass rush, a monster in the middle and secondary that played lights out. It wasn't just against KC, it was at the end of the regular season and the playoff run. I know there's a lot talk about how the offence came together after the bye week and the loss to KC and NO but Bowles did a great job with the defence and changing things up when needed. Can't wait for next season, hopefully most of these guys will be back.
