Ok, some of you might of read my trip report from my wife and I’sforst trip back in June. Already looking into the next trip. We stayed at Bally’s and really live the central location. If I want to go a little more high end this time what should I look at? Cosmo? Caesars? PH? Ideas and opinions would be much appreciated!

Cosmo fountain view, everyone should see it at least once.

If center strip is what you want and Cosmo’s rates don’t put you off, then the choice is pretty obvious, IMO. Spend the money to get a room with a terrace, though.

(Also, you’re way too young for Caesars. :snore:)

That’s the first time I’ve heard that. I didn’t know Caesars was for old people.

So am I and I'm old.

Cosmo would be a nice center strip place to stay, @Bryan84. Good food, cocktails and fun atmosphere.

Date is yet to be decided. Hopefully sooner rather than later. How late into the fall are the pools open?

Vote for Cosmopolitan with fountain view. Makes Vegas feel that much more special.

I know it’s not center strip, but what is everyone’s thoughts on the Mirgae?

Cosmo is probably the top choice but also expensive.

Planet Hollywood is a fave of mine, the rooms are fab, bath is huge and fun lively casino not full of kids or too old for you. Food options probably not as good as others though also pool isnt one of the top 10. Not bad however. Good all rounder with great location.

I am a Mirage fan for casino and the pool. Rooms were nice but not as nice as PH.

Last December we stayed at Caesers in a petite suite, and at the Mirage in a smaller Tower King. IMO, CP is too large for our tastes, and we much prefer the comfort of the Mirage. In fact we've stayed at the Mirage at least a dozen times....love it there. We've also stayed at the Wynn and Encore last year, but we prefer the location of the Mirage, even though that Wynn panoramic view on a high floor was very nice.

    Once again...downtown
    Our happy place.

Mirgae is nice but Mirage is even better. :D

Seriously though, it's a nice area to stay with decent suite rooms and an easy venture out to visit all the other strip properties.
Up toward Venetian and down toward the LinQ and further.
    Some good food options too.

I love The Mirage. Reasonable prices for suites, good pool area with decent cabana prices if you wanted a pool day. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Good vibe.

I’ve always been a big fan of both the Mirage and the Bellagio. I’m actually sorry I’m not staying at the Mirage this trip, but the comp room offer from the Orleans sort of settled where I was staying this up coming trip. I Think both places are very nice indeed. Well maintained with good pools and plenty of eating options and ideally located.
