In no particular order, the Golden Tiki, and Peppermill.
There's a couple of things on my list to do that probably aren't going to happen, as Mrs P isn't too keen and I'm not going on my own... The desert ATV thing would be awesome, and I also would like to do one of the machine gun experiences - not fired one since my RAF Cadet days 30 years ago.
Rollin' Smoke BBQ
Aces and Ales - although it's a stones throw from Sam's Town so this trip could be the one
Vic & Anthony's
Nice, I never knew that!
I’m in Scotland where it’s mainly roulette and BJ.
1 - Mob Museum, been putting it off too long.
2 - Double Down, been numerous times, just not in a while.
3 - Ellis Island, ditto DD.
4 - Bobby Flay's, just have to overcome allergic reaction to the Strip!
Possibly on my next trip:
I won't happen on my upcoming trip, but, one day I'm going to do all of this in a 24 hour time frame and it is going to be spectacular:
Play 18 holes of golf.
Eat a giant top-shelf seafood tower for two by myself.
Get baked and see David Copperfield... Magic is neat.
Marry a stripper.
Regret my decisions in the morning.
Head out to the lodge at Mt Charleston during the winter
I guess I've never stepped back to realize it, but I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to do a number of the things on this list. The ones I haven't aren't of interest (multi-hundred dollar meals that I can't get comped, art exhibits, etc).
My short list (of which I hope to knock some off in June) are...
Hugo's Cellar (sketched in for Friday, June 12)
Bob Taylor's Ranch House (loosely planned for Sunday, June 14)
Qua Bath Spa time (not an expensive massage or facial, but whatever the $20 Diamond access allows)
And forget for a moment that I mentioned not being interested in art, because this has been on my list for years...
Akhob by James Turrell exhibit at the Louis Vuitton shop inside Crystals.
Mon Ami Gabi
I think it took me 13 trips before I made it to the sign. If/when you stay at Mandalay Bay, add it to your list. It's not a bad walk/scooter ride from there.
What a great idea for a thread! This is going to take some thought. One thing we try to do on every trip -- unless it's just one of our quickies -- is to find a new place to eat.
Might try to drive over there one morning in the summer, and grab the obligatory selfie
It is insanely busy now. I see damn tour busses in there sometimes and 40 people pile out. Was way better when you just stopped on the side of the road, avoided traffic and got a couple pictures without anyone else around.
At this point for me I'm just going for low hanging fruit. I just hope to make it into Wynn. All the trips I've taken and still haven't been there. Then the conservatory at Bellagio as it's always getting torn apart while I am there. (my luck)
I've been 3 years in a row now and still haven't seen the Welcome to Las Vegas sign.
High Roller Happy Hour
Unfortunately we are taking some Vegas virgins with us the is year so Im sure we will doing a lot of the things we've already done. Hopefully we can fit these in also.
Rich Little has been on the list for the last 11 trips. I have not made it yet.
Great meals at both places. Make them priorities next trip for sure [emoji3]
I want to get back to Ellis Island to see the new Front Yard, but I didn't on my December trip. Maybe this year?
I always intend to eat at a new restaurant. So far, so good.
I always intend to sleep a normal amount of hours and not do too much bodily damage with my food and drink choices. So far, not so great. I've managed to do damage every one of my trips.
I really love Aces & Ales, except for if it is filled with smokers (there is a back room you can go to that is typically smoke free) Check online to see what they have on tap and how much is left. Usually a great mix of locals and solid regional pours. They also have a great selection of vintage bottles to review, you may find a great "whale" to celebrate with.
I really loved Front Yard, well worth the 3-5 year construction wait. It is separated from the main facility which really helps with the smoke. They have a very good food menu, and the food we saw looked excellent. I believe there are a few additional drink options as well outside vs. the main casino bar. I'm definitely heading back this next trip.
2 for 1 MyVegas Bellagio Gelato reward. Every time I go it is either blacked out or we had a buffet planned for that day so it didn’t make sense to redeem it.
Get our picture taken at the Welcome To Las Vegas sign!
Back on our second trip in 2009, we did this in the evening on our way to the airport, but since it was night time, the picture didn't turn out that great. 24 trips since then, and still haven't gotten back to the sign!!!!!
