So I've got our plane tickets booked (thank god for points) and a room setup at PH. My wife has always said that if we go to Vegas for New Years she wants to go to Margaritaville and be on the roof to watch the fireworks, drink, eat, etc... Anybody on here done it? Read some stuff on TripAdvisor and it didn't look horrible. Already reached out to Margaritaville and they are finalizing things and I'll be notified once that starts.

    Thanks!

We did Margaritaville a few years ago. We didn't sit on the roof but were instead on the floor below it. We had a table right at the window so had a great view of the fireworks. The "light" appies they put out are really that so I'd suggest you eat before you go. The drinks were plentiful and strong, I can honestly say that is the only time I've been drunk in Vegas and I've been there a lot!

All in all, we felt we got really good value for the price and would have no problem going there again for NYE. Have a great time!

Awesome. I'll definitely keep it in mind for eating before we go then if things were more on the lighter side!

We did the inside middle floor as well a few years ago. It was okay but not sure we would do again. It was awesome to look down at all the people crowded into the street and not smashed among them. I think it was $250 per ticket with the roof being $300. In the middle you can only see the Caesars fireworks display. I am not sure if you can see more from the roof or not. We did the roof for a fourth of July event, but I think Caesars was the only one doing them so I didn't pay attention to the rest of the view.

The food is just appetizers. The margaritas good. Not overcrowded at all. You will be assigned a table with others. They kick you out pretty quickly after midnight.
