On Four Queens Facebook page they announced that "Your favorite bartops just got refreshed" with a cryptic photo of their VP machines with the "Reserved" signs on them.

Can anyone confirm that they've actually upgraded the VP bartop machines at 4Q and if the paytables have been changed as a result? I can't go without 9/6 DDB w/Progressives on my upcoming trip...

So did they pay tables change or did they just upgrade the machines?

They were way past due. I'll be out in ~3 weeks and will check out.

If our crew makes it there on the last weekend of the month and nothing has been posted we will follow this pay table thing up..... Let's hope they haven't mucked with those machines!

I "wailed" on the Four Queens picture and they responded. They said they are just changing the stuff AROUND the machines...not the machines themselves. Whew!

I can confirm what Blonde4Ever just stated, Got a reply from 4Q and they said

Hey Christian, no new machines...just new padding on the bars in the front of the machines!! No other changes.:)

Sorry to scare everyone. Looking forward to seeing Joe and everyone else downtown the last weekend of May. Tonic and Vertical Horizon have a free concert that weekend (whoever they are).

Nothing wrong with actually getting new machines... as long as the paytable doesn't change.

Hell there was a report that at least some of the bartops at Orleans were recently replaced and they actually added 9/6 DDB for quarters (formally all 9/5). Miracles can happen. But if anyone actually gets down to Orleans, info on other games' payables and denoms would be much obliged.

You might find it hard to believe, but there are some people who believe random number generating machines (slots, VP) can be "lucky", and so they would fear the specific machines being replaced.
