The trick is to not overplan it. If you do what will happen is you will do a ton of stuff but still feel like you fell short because you didnt hit unrealistic goals. You will go home feeling bad.

you wont see it all in a few days so enjoy the stuff you do see at your pace. Nothing worse then rushing from place to place just to say you did it.

Get a drink at Hyde at Bellagio in the early evening. Killer view of the fountains and should not be a cover if you go early. Good looking Bartenders too!!

Here are some suggestions for your first trip.
    1. You can easily hit all the strip casinos on your short trip as I hit them all in 2 days plus a few right off the strip and another fun thing I did was collect a $1 chip from each casino.
    2. Ellis island behind Ballys has good beer and good steak and is cheap!
    3. Ballys sports book is a great place for football games.
    4. Hash house in linq is a must and you get a ton of food for reasonable prices.
    5. High roller gives you a view of the entire strip and you can get unlimited happy hour deals from Groupon.
    6. Baccnal buffet at Caesars is well worth a visit.
And lastly I will be at Ballys the same time as you so maybe we will run into each other.

Ballys sports book video poker bar is also a lot less crowded than Sully's video poker bar

I'm a big fan of Ballys and love that it's connected to Paris.
(Havent read the other posts) My tips: try to make it to Mon Ami Gabi, Evening Call has great slushie drinks, monorail is great if you need to go to SLS or MGM and the bartenders at Sullys and sportsbook / cocktail waitresses will remember you (treat them nice, they always love me more on day 2+)

I have decided I want to stay right in the Ballys area for Football Sunday. So that means I have narrowed my list down to Ballys, Caesars or Bellagio sportsbook. Which one would all of you suggest? I just want big comfy seats, drink comps and good tv's. I already know I will be watching the MNF game at Ballys since I will be leaving from there after the game. Worth branching out on Sunday for someplace different or just stay at home base?

Tough to get comps from bellagio or Caesars from my personal experience, Ballys is your best shot
