MyVegas New shield showing up in mobile game?

Hi.
I wasn't able to get into my game yesterday, it started to load and then just closed. Okay figured I'd wait a day and see what happened. This morning I tried again, still couldn't.

So I uninstalled the game and reinstalled. I now have over 3 million chips (which I didn't have yesterday) and there is a new shield icon at the top of the screen

Anyone have this happen? And what is the shield? I googled but nothing came up.

It was there for me first thing today. When I spun the wheel yesterday it gave me 40.2 million chips.
Now when I watch a video for chips it gives me 40,000 instead of the usual 5,800. I've also noticed that the amounts that i have to bet to activate a jackpot have went up BIGLY. lol
I'm at level 663 if that makes any difference.
 
Thank you both for the info. Gonna have to start rewatching the videos again. My shield is black and won't let me click it, so thanks for explaining it.
 
I am having trouble since the update, I must have deleted and re installed the game about 15 times and it keeps crashing
 
Trouble here too. A couple of days ago it gave me an extra 3 million points on my ipad. Then yesterday the app wouldn't load on the ipad, I deleted the app and downloaded a new app. It seemed to work for awhile but when I tried it again later it wouldn't open the app. Just now I tried to open the app on my iphone and it won't load and open. Isn't technology great!
 
This afternoon, the app would not fully load for me. No shield appeared on my screen but I went ahead and un-installed the app and then re-installed it. Upon re-installation I was given 7 million chips but now the app will not open. I'll try again tonite or else tomorrow morning.
