What's up everyone? New poster from Portland, OR, I'm a big trip researcher/planner so it's natural that I spend every waking moment with this board up when I have a trip coming up (next one being a quick 3 nighter over the 4th).

Been to Vegas numerous times as a kid as my parents would frequent the city for conventions. I remember getting booted from the Flamingo way back while sitting on my Grandpa's lap and pulling the slot lever and spending days in the MGM Grand arcade. Have been a few times since 21 with groups and solo. Finally at a place in my professional life where I can actually afford a bankroll and to take time off. Will definitely be more solo trips in my future.

Love all the tips, opinions, and stories. This is a great community and I'm happy to now be part of it.

Aha, I too went to Portland State. Originally from Southern Oregon though, South Medford High.

My son is going to PSU right now, and has applied for a transfer to U of O. Currently living in Hillsboro, but grew up in Milwaukie area, before moving to Gresham.

I did about a two-week stint at Barlow High. (Long story ... lol)

Love where we live but at times I miss the PNW.

    Go Vikings and Ducks!
