It does make you wonder how long they can continue.

I stayed there this year for the first time, me and my friends had wanted to since the Hangover movie!

    It was rubbish!

My friends had a room on the third floor that looked out onto an extraction pipe and the decor looked tired.

But that aside, there was no mini bar in the room, the pool service was rubbish and there was a queue at the bar, the only place you could get served consistenly was in the swim up blackjack.

If I were a shareholder i'd be mortified at how difficult they make it to spend money there! Yes you've got the tables and the other bars but the easy place to get revenue out the tourists they miss, i'm not saying it will solve all their problems but what other opportunities are going begging?

In no rush to stay there again, shame as when wondering through it always seemed really interesting!

I can't believe how far they have let that place fall. It used to be absolutely unchallenged.

I think one's experience at Caesars Palace is largely shaped by the tower in which he/she stays. The Roman Tower and Augustus/Octavius Towers are like 2 different worlds. I've stayed in the Augustus Tower my past 3 trips, and the rooms and service have been fantastic. The casino is a bit run-down, but the old-school dealers are some of my favorites in Vegas.

That is dated July 6th. Not that CZR has done anything positive in the interim.
