I just saw that coming next year a new series based on Tony Hillerman novels. Zach McClarnon of Fargo playing Joe Leaphorn. I absolutely loved Wes Studi as Joe Leaphorn. I didn't recognize the actor who is playing Jim Chee this time around. I hope that this series is as good as the three movies PBS did by Robert Redford.

Just got a headsup on Amazon Prime, "The Grand", improv comedy about a poker tournament in DTLV,
with tons of comedian and real poker player cameos.

Just thought I'd check it out a minute, almost half way through it.
IMO, the more televised poker you've watched, the funnier it'll be.

There are a couple TV sites that have coming/going shows/movies for streamers (and I sometimes get emails from those to which I subscribe). In case you aren't aware, this is my favorite because it's somewhat comprehensive https://tvline.com/lists/new-on-netflix-tv-shows-movies-originals/
(and yes, I put stuff in my calendar or I'd forget :p If it's already available, I'll add it to my playlist, but in advance - calendar)

Also, a friend posted these graphics with the Halloween options on a few streamers as well. Not for me - I don't like scary! I'm a Disney/Freeform only sort of halloween person - give me Casper, Halloweentown, and Hocus Pocus!

    Gunpowder Milkshake - Netflix

Karen Gillan - ya know if you are into tall, gorgeous red heads

Tries WAY too hard to make sure you know men=bad, girl=power

Worth the watch but don't expect a heck of a lot. It is enjoyable for what it is.

Just finished watching The Kings - a 4 part documentary on boxing legends Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns and Roberto Duran. Loved this.

Edit: It’s on Amazon Prime for a limited time but produced by Showtime

My bride and I have been enjoying a Reno 911 rewatch.
I may go as Lt. Dangle for Halloween this year!

i watched the first season of Westworld back when it first aired, but got distracted and never saw the next two seasons, so that's what I've been watching. I need to do the same with Mr. Robot, too.

On DVD (yes, I am one of the few people who still subscribe to the DVD service along with streaming -- most people I know aren't even aware that it still exists!), I just watched the original Ocean's 11, and my queue is all over the place. Coming up I've got My Neighbor Totoro followed by Diamonds Are Forever.

CSI: Vegas - Did anyone watch the pilot episode?
    CBS Wednesdays @ 10pm

No Spoilers... I liked the new cast. They seem to have some charisma unlike the new NCIS Hawaii which I dumped after 3 episodes.
I did have a problem with some of the new cast talking fast. I had to rewind a few times and turn on Closed Captions. Could be my old age.

Jorja Fox looks like she hasn't aged a bit. Looking forward to watching.

    Anyone else?

We got around to watching it last night. I never watched the original, but liked it just for all the Las Vegas scenery, especially the street scenes downtown. Even though we have an Accuvoice sound bar, we watch almost all dramas with CC turned on.

This isn't a show on a streamer - it's regular network tv - but I'll leave in this thread for now ;-) I loved the original (though not the other cities - just the original Vegas) so of course I watched it and am recording it. It's just a limited series - can't remember how many eps - so hoping it stays strong. I enjoyed.

Black Widow is now free on Disney+ so I will be watching that at some point this weekend.

I've been watching 3% on Netflix.

Watched the first episode of Squid Game.
    Nail-biter and very unexpected. Dark.
    Very well done!

Same male lead as Coffee Prince, Big, Train to Busan, Goblin etc..
He usually plays the good guy, so.....weird to see him play a villain.

But, that stuff gets in my head and I'll have bad dreams.
So... I might finish the series at some point, but it's not going to be now.

I really liked Midnight Mass on Netflix. 7 episodes. A horror / thriller from the same writer as The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Ive heard some say they though it was slow moving but I didnt feel that way.

I've been watching Horror Movies on Netflix the past week. Stuff like this:
    The_Babysitter_(2017_film).png
and it's sequel. Stupid, campy horror.

Restarting my Halloween viewing! Watched Sleepy Hollow, Halloween, and the Fright Night remake, which is set in Vegas. Not a lot of Vegas in it though.

Also saw “In Bruges” recently, also with Colin Farrell. Didn’t think I’d like it but I did.

A low strip trip? Could be….
Using up comps walkabout! Fingers crossed!
