Haha, I wonder if Vegas would even honor a wager here if they did win it.

My take is if Arizona makes it to the title game. Bet heavily on the opponent. When the title gets vacated you can take your ticket and argue that you actually won.

got A&M at 28-1 over New Year's when they were like 11-1... probably even longer odds now but if they get on a roll they're as talented as anyone. Really hoping they come through cause I'll be in town over Final Four weekend so would be really cool to have that bet hanging out there.

Best way to bet longshots is wait until the sweet 16 and pick a couple of the 3 and 4 seed types whose odds are long relative to their talent - you can get some teams at 25 to 1 when that price is actually fair.

As of now, basically every futures bet is a sucker play.

the rules for sports bets are generally that they pay the named winner as of time X and ignore any future changes.

25/1 right now is a steal... a week ago 16/1

Ayton is clean, and is at no risk of not playing. Trier will be back for Pac12 tourney. Fake news will push this team over the top. The only question is the coach, who never gets past Elite 8 anyways. This team easily has the most talent of any team west of the Mississippi. Spare me the FBI, bribes, talk. Get your bets in now. Enjoy the games!

Fun Fact: 2-0 ATS without Miller, I know because I banked.

Before the season started, this was my pick to win it all. Now, I just don't think they have the defense to win it all. Happy you won your last two bets ATS, but losing to an average Oregon team (and even letting OSU climb back into the prior game) are not reassuring results for a team you think should win it all. I agree, though, that they are one of the best teams out west. I might rank Zaga ahead of them at the moment, but they are certainly one of the two best west of the mississippi

I'd take Wichita State over both of those two. Oh yeah, and Kansas. Definitely Kansas.

Michigan would have been a solid pick, speaking in terms of odds. They are in the top 10 for the final rankings now.

Very intrigued by Virginia being the favorite. Sure, they have the best defense, but that's been their identity for the last few years, and as soon as they face an excellent offense that gets up by 8+ points, they can't seem to come back. Not sure what's different about them this year. Factor in that they should face either Kentucky or Arizona in the Sweet 16 and I don't see them making it to the Elite 8.

Villanova has a nice road to the Final Four. I'd take a shot at 5/1.

Upset: Marshall over Wichita State. Marshall has a legit offense that could pose problems for a Wichita State team that has struggled defensively this year.
