That's why we love you, Nate! You are one of us! :haha:

I wondered if you'd meet up with him on this trip. Glad you had a good meeting.

    Happy birthday!

Happy birthday man, its gonna fun to read your upcoming CET TR. Did you visit some of the High Roller suite with Hunter? If so what did you think of them? From looking at the pictures online they look pretty sweet.

Maybe he will hook you up with britney spears meet and greet :)

    NATE,

Thanks for the Report on Hunter. I was at Caesar's and asked the Host on duty to look up Hunter. They said he was at PH and I don't really like Playing there.

I'll be going to Lake Tahoe Next week and I go to New Orleans a lot so Let me know if there is anything you want me to find out for you.

Only thing is I called Lake Tahoe and spoke with the Casino Manager about Table limits and he was not comfortable with the $100 -$25k on Baccarat. He said he would do $100-$10k for a start. So you might want to make sure they will have the Limits you want before you go.

Harrah's does have a private Yacht you can take out on a private cruse out on the lake. That is a big plus. Plus the snow skiing there is very nice. Only thing is getting there.

It is a lot easier to fly in on a private plane as the drive from Reno sucks.

Again Let me know if there is anything you want me to find out for you when I go.

Actually transportation is probably key for Tahoe, I remember from my days at Cal, we used to drive up...wasn't that bad, but memories can play tricks on you. How far away a drive is it from the Cupertino area if anybody knows? What time of year would be best? Do you need to get chains etc?

I'm sure for all the other places one would be there for the locale, not really the gambling...but you need to be in the system as a big whale so you get the top notch amenities I'm sure.

Nate. Really loving this report, it is great to hear about you trying out new casinos to get a new vibe going in Vegas. I was a little shocked on the craps story but the guy just betting $100 like that was bound to wind anyone up. I'm looking for a great come back, the Bac session seems to have been a saviour so far on this trip.

Great to hear about Hunter, he sounds genuine given his posts and your review, if he catches your business that would be real coup for him and CET.

Although another thing I found interesting was that some of these CET hosts are paid on % of actual loss, not all theoretical. So they actually want you to lose haha. He mentioned before the annual close he had a customer win a jackpot, so wiped his annual bonus out.

Depending on when you are going I going for the 4th so no chance of snow. It is about 200 miles form OAK or SFO so about a three and half hour drive because of the winding roads. It is a nice view if you like to se wooded areas but if you are use to driving in Taiwan's mountains this should be no problem.

Depends if you want to snow ski or go to the Lake. As what is the best time to go during the year. If you go during the winter I would recommend you get snow chains if you are going to drive there from San Fran Area. I think they will post signs requiring snow chains.

I think with your play they can fly you in to Tahoe from San Fran so you don't need to drive.

I was there last Summer and it was pretty nice. I'll give you a TR when I get there. Only just join this board a few months ago.

I grew up in that area and Tahoe was 3-4 hours depending on traffic, weather and how much I feel the need to get out and wander around.

I agree with pphold, with your level of play, they should be able to fly you into Tahoe from SF easily. The airport is not far from the casinos.

I agree. But when I do go elsewhere I find myself back at the Wynn. Don't get me wrong, always have a great time wherever I stay but for me isn't quite like the Wynn. Although, my host at the Aria has made the past 4 trips there really good. Love Shadow and the entertainment. But again, it isn't like the Wynn. Actually looking forward to my trip in Sept to the new SLS. Something new is always good. Happy Birthday again! Fairways and greens!

Cupertino is down near San Jose. Its about a 4 hour drive to Tahoe. Not too bad really. A 4-wheel drive or all wheel drive is usually enough. I think most people take chains just in case when the whether is bad, but most don't use them.

    Doesn't surprise me this.

I watched a documentary by a British journalist filmed at LVH about 8/10 years ago. It tracked a host and a whale being flown in and the events that unfolded. Comps, suites, wins and losses.

I could tell by the hosts reaction when quizzed at the end after his client had left about 500k in the hole that he wasn't quite as unhappy as he was making out.

    Good craps session...

Started out badly because Maverick the cooler was at the table, then we kicked him off and K makes 6 passes...

Was down 40k, ended up up 71k. A 100k six pass roll pretty cool

    Nice craps run.
If Maverick is the cooler then K needs a new nickname. Perhaps Iceman or Goose, unless K is an MIB nickname.

Any luck with the GoPro in the casino?

That is the one. I love Louis Theroux. I am from England myself but he is terribly stereotypically British!

I have tried to find something similar but more up to date but couldn't. I'm guessing they picked the Las Vegas Hilton at the time as it was the only big property that would let them in but maybe I am wrong? I enjoyed the two guys playing BJ on tilt all night!

Good to see that loss figure shrinking!
